would you sell it whole as it sits? if so how much and is there A clean title? I live in Oklahoma and have A friend that has fell in love with my 240. He would take A good 280 shell W/title.
  2. I know. run A promotion deal if you buy the plate frame , grill emblem , and keychain. You could toss in A 350Z. my check is in the mail. O YA , make mine A stick shift.
  3. Wow there are some cool things you all have come up with. One thing that has not been touched is A real nice write up board for your car. Anyone thats ever been to A car show has seen and looked over A cool car with A nice plex. glass board with A write up about that ride and most have there club name as the header or just under the car name. I know I am doing my Z for show n go fun. I dont think I am the only one here thats going to show there Z. A write-up board can help A ton with the judges aswell. Just somthing I would buy that I know others would see.
  4. mperdue, Dude your in deep with that 240. Dont take it wrong I wish you the best of luck on it. But your A bigger man then I for taking that on. Do you still need the 1/4 boards? I dont think mine are broken. Let me know. o yah there tan.

I have not put my order in YET. But corbeau is going to get my money. I took the time to write corbeau, sparco, tenzo, and momo. Now Momo did send back A info pack with little more info then how much I will spend. Way more then any sane person. Bolth sparco & tenzo have yet to send anything. Now corbeau sent out A info pack that was unreal. They sent out A pack that was everything you could want or need to know. From A full seat description of every seat they sell. outer size, inner size, lbs., and options for each type. A full color photo sheet with each seat on it. The one thing that sold me over anything was there cost sheet. It tells you what the retail price is on everything from belts brackets seats no holding back. Dont get taken I called about A pair of corbeau forza 2 seats. (Mailorder place in A car mag.) I was told $345. per seat with no brackets or belts. I felt there was no way I was going to spend $690. on just the seats and had lost hope on them. I looked them up in the price list and there $249 EA. Now that I can and will do. P.S. M.S.A has the forza 2 for $315. EA. plus oversize shipping cost. do some home work and save$$$

I have been told mixed things about ford 302s for doing A Z. The big thing is the type of 302. Ford has diff. 302s out there and what I have been told is there are some out there where the oilpan will not clear the stock crossmember. Please let me know if I was told wrong. I have been A GM/ MOPAR guy forever so I have stuck with what I know. Just trying ta help out.

First let me warn you this set-up is not in A Z. I just think this is worth looking at for someone who is thinking about A hot V-8 thats not your everyday street rod motor. As far as "cheap" with shoping around and not getting in A big rush this could be done for little $$$. http://www.sdsefi.com/features/dec00supra.htm :devious:
  15. There is A photo of A black set here for sale. But are listed as sold. I woud e-mail them and ask if they may have any others for sale. http://www.zparts.com/ads/wheels/pages/skc-02.html

Just got home from the shop thats doing my 240Z and took some shots of the rides there doing now. Sorry about photos but its night and poor lighting where the vette was. This is A twin turbo 92 corvette on N.O.S. They did it all there. The other is A nice lil parts runner with the stang getting set for paint. The work on my hood is set to start in the morning. I should have the whole car there by june. Waiting for A space to open up.:devious:

With stickers that old and big they tend to come off in chunks. This is dependent on how bad the sun cracking is. I have found that as kmack said heat works good. But if you have A good (new) razor blade you can get under the sticker holding the blade almost flat and rocking it back n forth you will feel when you get under the sticker yet above the paint. This can take more time then A putty knife but you will find it cleaner with less nicks in your paint. Because you will get A feel for where you are (over the paint) that gets lost with A handle with the putty knife. This is just what I have found to work.

where can I find the art used on the main page of this site?
  22. I have been working classic car auctions for 15 years now. As A z owner I hate to say that there is no real (big money) in site for the run of the mill Z. It would take proven winning race history or lower miles then most 2001 corvette on the road today. Its to bad. There are some out there worth some good money and getting that buyer that wants the car isnt hard. The hard part is finding the buyer with the cash that wants it. With knowing just how mint A 240Z would need to be for it to be worth any big money (over 20k) I dont mind turning mine into my dream toy. I took A ton of time(8 years) looking at all diff. types of 240's from mint - not even for parts and now have found the one I have been looking for. I am going into this knowing its going to eat money I will never see back. But feel the rush most dream about at the turn of A key.

Did you login under A diff. name & vote for the 2+2?
  24. ("When Nissan killed the Z in 1996, there was relatively little grieving.") :stupid: Maybe because Nissan killed the true Z with the letter X. Sorry ZX guys. Just the way I feel about it.
  25. That could move out with the turbo 4 cyl. DONE RITE.. I think you could be buying alot of new underware. With that kind of cut in lbs. up front. Could get real fun keeping the front tires on the ground at speed. Hope you dont need to turn fast.:dead:
