hi nick, i have an original scarab swap..it works great. but they are out of business. the jag conversion does wrk too. hooker still has the headers and they might have the motor mounts too. it just raises up the motor a bit and back a little. good luck paul

i have a scarab conversion on my 240-z, running an R200 diff. i want to go to a 383 with 500hp and 400+ torque. i am trying to get a feel for how much i can put through that rear end safely and how much it will really take. and even what i might try to modify the rear end if there is a good combo withour going to a ford 9 inch. dont want to do that. thanks paul
