New 240Z in Canada
Welcom aboard and congratulations! Being that far north, the short summers will be a bummer (not much better here) and I can't imagine what the potholes might be like up there, not to mention polar bear road hazards... Drive carefully....

One word...autobahn.... Mmmmmm.... Congratulations and welcome aboard!

One and only - 1974 Datsun 260 ZX, factory V-8 and original!
Silly Z community...always knocking down someone who's trying to raise the bar for us... If he makes the sale we could fix the economy just based on the appreciation in value of our historically significant vehicles... I'm going to see if I can find a 70-73 240Z with a factory RB26 or LS1...we're rich!!!

Odd, I don't recall that set of parameters on the aerodynamic tests conducted by the hybridz guys... Must have been an oversight. I wonder what the downforce generated might be at full or half mast...

Fix it or forget it?
Defferentially beg to differ...spent money is already gone, whether he spent $10 or $10,000 it is what it is.... The value of the vehicle isn't much. I do agree that the parts may be greater in value than the car itself. Also, if you plan to get another, a parts car in the background is good until you get the new one and running to your liking.

If you want to drive it and have fun. Find a car with the best body possible that needs a paint job (even if mech needs a little work...). Paint as you like.

For a non-intiate you've done well grasshopper... Try and find an episode on-line...it's pretty much a documentary on real life in Canada... One out of every three of us has either a drink in our hand at all times, owns a shitmobile, steals bar-b-q's and has a gay drunk wanna-be cop security guard trying to sting us... If we show up at any convention / Z-fest...watch your bar-b-q's...

Wow...pretty rough starting point... Remember this is old Japanese metal...that surface rust likely means much more beyond...check it very carefully... Might want to start with a better base...pour as money of your budget as possible into a rust free base...after that things get ~easier~.

Hey
No such thing as a '67 Z. They started officially in '70 (although some are '69 build for the '70 year). Must be a roadster...
