well the cylenoid in the starter is being replaced soon i found it for 30 dollars because it looks pretty bad... hopefully it will start but if the doesnt work im goin to buy a gold 280zx that actually runs and just work on that..

well alrgiht then im pretty sure my slave is good i need a new master cylinder though price ranges ?

well its a 240 and its got carbs, i couldve sworn that there is no master or slave cylinder because its cable driven buit i could be wrong

well the battery was new we took it out of my friends honda, but i havent checked the starter yet...

ok well i have a new problem i tried starting my z today and all i got was certain lights to come on, but i think it wouldnt start because the clutch pedal just hits the floor and bounces back and it barley goes into any gear... if my tranny's shot will the car not even start?

well i was told that i can get the paint direct from nissan, but the source wasnt very reliable so i was wondering well thanks i didnt know that i could ask any paint store and just give them the code helps alot...

does nissan still carry all the origanal paint colors, asking because i want my car painted the original color

well i understand chickewafer's mistake and i thank everyone else for helpin me out yea i have been busy with work and i havent got time for the datsun.... but i plan on buying a haynes manual on friday and then get a cherry picker off of my friend and begin the engine drop if anyone wants to take a look im gettin my digital camera repaired and posting pictures on Cardomain.com.. thanks for all the help

for some reason no matter what i try i cannot get the front two fenders off ive tried everything... and the majority of the bolts ive taken off have just snapped and im a little worried about taking anything else off... what should i do

ok first about the year i looked up the numbers hls30-32347 and from what i found i believe its a 71 but im still not sure.. second i know the frame is sound the floors need replaced they are really rusted.. about the 4spd-5spd will i need a new bell housing; will the 5spd clutch fit ? the reason it was in a junkyard is the previous owner passed and his brother the owner of the yard put it up for sale (he had never heard of a datsun ha ) and as to the 280z turbo swap i have everything with the engine but there is one prob the E.C.U. and ive heard they are prone to be faulty currently im working on removing the body then i wanna drop the engine any tips? advice? im located in sharon pennsylvania, anyone close by

i just recently purchased a 240z from a junkyard and everythings in tact but im not the best with cars and i have a few questions... my clutch is blown and im wondering what would be involved and how i would go about a swap from the original 4-spd to a 5-spd also if this engine doesnt work out would a 280zx turbo engine swap be possible in this car ok also it need A LOT of parts replaced, ive herad of a nissan catolouge but i cant find anything like it one more.. the thing is i dont have any info or backround on the car and im curious as to the year i cant post pics yet but i just dont know much about it
