well actually my dad was from new england and we are in Jersey now... so the z spent most of its time on the east coast. But there were different things for the cali zs due to emissions. Thats why I was wondering if it was worth more

nice =)... my z is getting restored and I cant wait. Everything is solid except for the usual floor pans and battery tray stuff. So I know how you feel right now. My z is also a cali car and the emmissions stuff was taken off. Are cali cars more valuable than others or not really? BTW is www.ultimatez.com a good source? I found some stuff there that I want to order but I wanted to check first.

I removed my headliner, a pillar and top of windshield vinyl. They need to be replaced and im looking for replacements. Does anyone know where I could find them? Victoria British has a full vinyl kit but I planned on having my transmission tunnel and shock towers carpeted. If I cant find it anywhere else... would anyone be interested in buying the transmission tunnel and rear stuff for the normal price that just those are sold for? Also how much do interior shops run for if they put it my carpeting and headliner stuff? Thanks

right after sandblasting its going to body and they are shooting it with a primer that stops rust as soon as they get it. Will the sand or media be a problem?

Im totally stipping my z for sandblasting and bodywork and I have a few questions... On the transmission tunnel there is a plastic thing glued to it underneath the vynal and horse hair material. What is that and should I bother taking it off. should I worry about rust? I peeled back a corner and its bare metal underneath which was rust free. And should I reglue the area I peeled back? Do I have to keep that horse hair material to put if back on or could I use dynomatting? Should I bother taking the padding material off on the interior side of the firewall? My dad said there wont be rust under there and I would just mess up the padding by taking it off. Also is there a replacement for that piece? Are there replacement rain drip rails and should I take mine off for sandblasting and paint. Thanks for help

If they are in good shape I would like all of the window trim. If the emblems are worn out then I dont need them. And i think all of my metal turn signal parts rusted out... Deffinately the front though. What about the other parts I asked about?

Everyone here seems to go for konigs and panasports. I have been very interested in a set of panasports but I just cant decide. I have always had a soft spot for dished wheels and I like 5 spoke. Are they any nice polished deep dish 5 spokes around that will fit a 240z without adapters? Please let me know if there are and show pics :classic:

Ive been really busy lately and I havent had much time to spend on the z. I just want it to be finished so I can go drive it. I cant wait until its done. It tortures me every time I go in the garage and see her just sitting there. To make me even more excited let me know what you love about your z.

... i dono. Im just looking for some sort of solution. What if I fill it with apoxy. The cracks really arent all that big. Its just that I dont want it getting worse. If that wouldnt work, how are the full dash caps?

what happens if you fill it with bondo and dye it?

it would cost 700 for a couple small cracks?!?!
