just cuz i like being able to shift manually and ocassionally take it out for a spin, it's hard to drive a 4k stall converter car around town . But maily this will be a dedicated racecar besides i've had bad luck with torque converter balloning/ grenading (on nitrous) and destroying the tranny.

Exactly i've been lookin into that aswell (actually my first choice) i'm just unsure of how to make the 4-link or ladder bar setup work. I'm in temecula of the 15 do yo know of any local shops (so cal area) that could do the live axle swap? Or Any guys that i might be able to talk to to get some help. So My 77 Will Have a R-200 did any come LSD form the factory, if not who sells a good lsd system for the r200 how does the Phantom grip unit hold up? How Much torque can it take before it snaps? Does Anybody Know of a Solid Axel Setup for the Early Z's

Hey Guys I'm kinda new to the Z scene I owned a 93 300zxtt a few years back and am now building a 280z Drag Car. Ok enough for introduction i was wondering is someone could enlighten me on how to check if the car has a r180 or a r200 i know how to check for lsd thats simple. What years Came With each Diff ans is there a way to refreence the VIN to the Driveline Info. thanks In advance for the help and Look foreward to learning form you guys. Alex

I know someone has had to have done a solid Axel conversion on a 280z i was wondering if someone could give me a link to where i could get more info on it or possibly a link to a kit. :cheers:
