im goin to modify my fuel rail and i was wondering if it would hurt the engine to take the cold start valve out and the thermotime switch are these components necissary to the car or can i take them out and not worry also i want to clean up the intake manifold any vacum hoses i can get rid of? or any other hoses for that matter

i just got my 280zx ad it has a ac in it but i want to take the whle unit out of the car to reduce weight and increese hp but im not quite sure how to go abouts it any hjelp you guys could give would be greeat

ok there a loud thunk when i let out the clutch i think itys comin from the rear differential but im not sure any one know what iu should do?
