Firstly I perfer mechanical performance built and secondly I do want to keep my cars as stock as affordably possible !!!!!!!!!!!!

Us old timers meaning myself like the old fashioned way the old had wash wax and buff !!!! But I do feel better that I am not the only one it takes maybe two days to complete the job !!!!

Trying to find out what part is misssing on my spare set of SU carbs What is missng and what does it do !!!!!!

Have not received that flyer from Haggerty but was glad that 26th Z scanned it and definetly happy to see the Z mentioned and as for me I am very happy with Haggerty Insurance. I insure both my Z cars for a total of $160 per year I could not afford the second Z in my insurance was to high !!! Never had to make a claim as of yet even with three hurricanes !!!!!!Thank God !!!! Both hurricanes I kept my 2003 Sebring outside with my Z cars in the garage !!!

I am glad we have young guys keeping the Z alive without youth the Z would be forgotten !!!!

Being born May 1949 my second new car off the showroom was a 1974 Emerald Green 260Z with tan interior with 4 Speed of course I was 25 years old then but I had owned many other clunkers before that and don't chuckle to hard I had a new 72 Chevy Vega what a piece of junk had it less than six monthes some how some poor guy bought it off me and I picked up a 1970 Datsun p/up enough rambling I guess there are some what you call old guys in the club !!!!!!:laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

I ordered OEM springs from Courtesy Nissan for my 71 240Z I am trying to keep the car as stock as possible and really did not want to lower the car. I am running P215/60 R14 tires with dealer added slotted rims. I am trying decide on what type of shocks and struts would be best suited for this set up? Is KYB shocks and struts my best choice ?????

Thanks Carl for the information and I ordered the springs today from Courtesy Nissan !!!! Any recommendations for struts that would compliment these springs ??? And could you direct me to the best place to order the struts !!!!!!
