What type of article is this and where should I post it for future reference !!! I was really refering the case of a 71 240Z !!!!!

Has any one added a fan shroud to a 71 or 72 240Z ??????????

Who sells them new ???? Are they the metal or plastic ????? Is the metal better than the plastic ?????

I am thinking of adding a fan shroud to my 71 240Z !!!! I fell it would help the radiator to get more air and keep the car running a little cooler !!! I live in Florida so the cooler the better. My 72 has one but 71 or newer Z's did not come with one. Is a fan shroud from 72-78Z cars interchangable ????

Why do you recommend not removing the water warm up carburator feed in Florida ??? Reread your response and I got it !!!! It is ok to remove in Florida !!! I did it on my 72 240Z and I will probably do it to my 71 240Z soon !!! Just it was recommended to me to remove by motorsports auto when I got new carbs a few years back !!! Could some one explain the reason for removing water feed to the carbs. ?????? Has other warm climate people done the same and on also how many have remove all the smog stuff ? Thanks

Just My opinion it takes away from the looks of the car but I guess they protect the glass headlights from stones !!!!!

Some people will want to cry the car sold for a straight $6,000 I chose to go up to the West Coast,North Port Florida and closed the deal on a 71 for $6300 I do like the car I got just never expected the other to go so low !!!!!!I will try to post pictures of Z number 2 soon !!!!

I believe you got your money's worth !!!! I do not think I could have bought the car sight unseen !!! I guess you are a good judge of character !!! The 240Z I have now is not as nice as yours and I was able to see it first !!! I had the Z fever when I saw it !!! Once again good luck !!!!! and keep us updated !!!!!!!!

Nice job on the engine !!!! After looking at detail and great job I am afraid to start the model I have in my closet for the last year !!!!!!!

The car that I am interested in has tinted windows !!!! I am not a real fan of tinted glass on a 240Z But on this car it does not look bad !! I guess Florida cars need it to help keep some heat out !!! Did anyone ever try to remove tint !!! What do other club members feel about tinted glass on a 240Z ????

Really just want a good running with miniamal rust just do not have the money and the facilities to do a proper restore !!!! This car is in the $7500 range but body wise and interior wise it is excellent and engine is fairly new !!!

I still have not put that 71 240Z out of my mind but I am wondering would there be a problem registering the car if the engine vin# is different then car vin# number located on the dash???? The owner does have the original engine for the car !!! I live in Florida !!!! Has anyone else delt with this problem ??? The engine is fairly new and how much does it hurt the value of the car !!!!!

The car is in the Gainsville area and I guess I was exagerating a little I live in West Palm and I guess it would be closer to 4 hours without getting lost !!!!

Thanks for the information Ziebart is the right term I will read up on that !!! I wonder is there any cars that club members have owned or seen with this protective but ugly looking stuff !!!!
