I agree start at $2000 it is always better to work your way up than to work your way down !!!!! If there is not to much rust that car can be a very reliable driver especially with 83,000 miles if that is documented These cars can run for another 100,000 miles excellent transportation for a student !!!! and little by little you can fix it up !!!!! Man I have a lot more to learn and lot more reading I guess there is definitely more to Z's than stock !!! It is hard for us old guys to change our old ways of thinking especially have owned Z cars since I was 22 in 1974 shows how long I have been in the Z mode and my first Z was a new Emerald Green 260Z !!! My 71 240Z is bone stock and my 72 is bone stock except the rims (Enkei) I guess that takes it out of the bone stock catagory ??? My 71 has slotted mags does that take it out of the bone stock catagory ???
