  1. I haven't seen the orange car,but as far as it being an automatic,my car came off the line 36 cars ahead of this one.Does anyone know if they produced a run of automatics or just hit and miss

    Your hardest repair will be the inner fender,shock tower,radiator support and possibly frame rail.

    what about the positive b terminal on the dizzy module,is it spliced with red from MSD and the switched 12v source?

    I have a 72 240,new battery,alternator,voltage regulator.Car is overcharging, also when brake lights are on or I turn on blinkers,needle pegs the gauge.Any ideas?

    I've posted this question before but had to many other things going on to check anything.Some of the responses were that the height of the piston was a positive deck of .016" to .020".I haven't put a micrometer on it to get an accurate measurement but I used a feeler gauge(definitely not the greatest idea)and came up with a height of about .013".I put stock head gasket(new)on today to find out that valves are hitting pistons.Engine specs are stock crank,stock rods,87mm flat top pistons,stock head,.005" shave off deck height

    I been down Lombard street many times.I don't know if you were thinking you could go down it at speed cause you certainly can't.(too tight and only a block long,the famous part of it anyway)But in general it is a cool street to visit.
