Change of plans .. was going to celebrate wife's bday on Saturday .. so I could enjoy the Sac Z Reunion on Sunday. Now I find that I get to celebrate my wife's bday on Sat (as planned) .. but her mom wants to celebrate it on Sunday (with all the family) .. so .. well it ain't a dog show ..

JAPAN TSUNAMI RELIEF CAR SHOW @ DECEPTI-KON APRIL 16th Our hearts go out to those impacted by the devastating Tsunami that hit Japan. If this event is “new” to you – do a search to review last years event. Date: 1 July 2011 Time: Car Show: 6PM to 10PM (Note: Once your car is staged. It must stay through the show. No IN-OUT traffic will be allowed. Registration Details: Registration is required It is free and due to limited spaces - subject to acceptance/availability. You will be notified if your entry is accepted. 1) You must provide the following information either via PM or email to: inqui.z.tor@gmail.com. Title PM / email: 2011 1st Friday entry (This way I can recognize it and not treat it as spam) a) Your real name, forum name and forum you are from (this is for emails specifically) A photograph of your vehicle. Exterior shot (side view, ¾ front view). If you wish, you may supply a “link” to an image. Note – By supplying image, you are giving permission to use the image for 1st Friday Car Show advertising purposes (either by the Sacramento G’s and Z’s Group or the Fountains at Roseville). 2) Registration begins: 1 March 2011 and ends when all spaces are filled. The Sacramento G's and Z's will be showing at the 2011 1st Friday Car Show. Like last year, we'll be sharing the event with the Sacramento NSX Club. This year - we'll be showing on July 1st, 2011. Unfortunately we'll be limited in the number of cars that I can show. 24 G's and Z's. (The NSX group has the same limit). Last year we only had 1 Datsun Z in the show. I'd like to get a few more (240, 260, 280, 280zx). "5ft viewing" distance show types - only please. I"ll be starting a sign-up list soon. I just wanted to give you a heads up, so you can reserve the date. This thread (post) will be updated often. I got it via the BRE datsun newsletter Mr. K to be featured in MotorTrend magazine Mark your calendars to pick-up the Spring issue on newsstands March 1st The great Mr. K will be showcased in the Spring issue of MotorTrend magazine. The article, photos, etc have just been completed. The issue will be on newsstands approximately March 1st Note: If you want to let MotorTrend know that you appreciate this kind of content in their magazine, once the magazine comes out, not only pick it up but very importantly send them an e-mail with your comments. Magazines don't see newsstand sales so they don't know directly that you got the magazine to read about Mr. K. They do however pay a LOT of attention to reader responses so send in those e-mails when the issue is published!
