Just found out about this .. passing it along, incase its of interest .. Hey all you Datsun heads, we are doing it again. Sept 5th 2010 we will have an all Datsun swapmeet and carshow. $10 seller spots, Free to all buyers. All Datsuns are welcome. Call Dave Pare 916-384-8302 with questions. Yes there will be z cars, 510s, 1200, 411s, 521s, 620s, roadsters, 610s, 710s, 810s, and maybe even a Datsun boat there. A couple of events that I’m hoping some may be interested in .. September 26th – EuroSunday in Folsom/El Dorado Hills. Some of you already know about EuroSunday. For those that don’t, http://eurosunday.net Basically your opportunity to see (upclose) exotic, rare or vintage cars .. FOR FREE. Also a chance to just do car talk (meet-n-greet) with the owners. I’ve been asked to invite the Sac Z’s to attend. I think it’s a fallout of our 1st Friday showing. I kind of bragged a little of how great our show turned out. BTW the EuroSunday group is showing .. on 3 September (1st Friday – September show) Here’s where to meet: Broadstone Market Place (out in front of Bel Air Market) 2760 East Bidwell Street Folsom, CA 95630 Time: 8AM-1030AM December 5th – EuroSunday Rallye 4 Kids Toy drive for local charity (not sure which one will be selected for 2010). Various local car clubs/groups participate in a parade (groups show up at scheduled times to delivery their toys) and participate in a EuroSunday style “Show-N-Shine”. For 2010, I'm organizing a group of Sacramento G's and Z's ... Details – such as locations, and schedule are still TBD. I just want to get the word out .. look for a special thread in the near future!

Rats .. missed this thread. Oh well, would have missed it anyway. Family was visiting from out of town. So when's the September reunion?

Kind of off topic for your thread, so I apologize .... I remember Carolyn and her husband Fred. Infact, I brought them into the club via the Sacramento area .. ! We had lots of fun .. believe it or not, the Sacramento group was the "renegade group" back in the 80s .. Held all sorts of event, runs .. shows .. cruises .. back then. When I got back into ZONC, I was surprised how the club had changed .. it wasn't what I thought Carolyn would have done, but .... especially with the addition of the non-Z's. Anyway .. today's ZONC. Mixture of cruises/runs (some multiple days types) to "shows" to tech days (dyno days) .. some track events, but not autocross or driving events (mostly corrals and race watching). The officers of late have focused on keeping a balance of "official" events .. The club has a Competition Rep .. but w/o much interested via the membership (to y knowledge), not much is heard from him ...

You were in ZONC? As the Competition Director? When? I was in ZONC .. '84-'89 (left due to family and because it just stopped being fun) .. then re-joined in '04 (still a member)

Speaking of 2010 ZCON. My apologies to the original poster of this thread. In a search for 2010 ZCON, this thread came up. http://www.zcon2010.com/ Registration for 2010 ZCON is now open.

Not mine. It was found in a LV JY .. on the valve cover of a 260Z?? I'm just trying to see if anyone knows the history behind it .. if there is a history.

I believe the date for Blackhawk is 27 June. The one to contact is the club's president. And yes .. HOOTER event is 2 May.
