I would like to have a 260c as a project, right now a 73 is on a local paper, a coupe metallic green, soft top just as my first car (a gift from my dad who owned it since almost new, that car is gone) but i have no money and time now , all my money and my time are spent on my ZX.... but god i love those 260Cs

That's right i have a german fuel pump in mine!!

yes it could worth it...mine has 200.000 original km and needed some paint work, new tires, new emblems, fuel pump, new clutch, new mirrors, brakes and some minor work on the interior and i paid for it the equivalent of 5000 US$ and it's a 1980..... i wish i could find a car like that here in Colombia but ....

very common little truck here in COlombia during the eighties, and during the early 90s were sold as nissan pick up, imported from Mexico

mine are plastic the old ones and the new ones... and as i can remember the emblems of my old 1973 260C were plastic....

Nice car!!! my Dad had a 1973 Cedric (known here in Colombia as 260C) coupe, soft top. With A/C, power windows, electrical antenna..... and many other things that made that car really luxurious, that was my first car...

well!! my Radio is almost working, but i have a question, does anibody know if the balance control ( that i don't have) acts as an amplifier too??cuz it seems like my radio has no amplifier or may be it was removed...

I did find a wire digram for the antenna but i still need radio, speakers, balance control wire diagram... please anybody.... i need some help

Well i think is my turn!!!! my name is Camilo and i was born and live in Bogotá -Colombia... i´m 29, single, and bought my 1980 ZX 2+2 just three months ago, and after a hard field work of two months i had the money to buy it.... well it´s still an expensive car here in Colombia ( 4500 US$ more or less)... i´m geologist of the National University of Colombia by the way... and this is not my first Datsun. Actually i grew up in the backseat of a 73 Datsun 260C coupe soft top from my Dad, a great and luxurious car..... that i owned for a year after my graduation from the school in 1993..... well have Datsun again and a z or zx was my dream and my dream came true, also the dream of my Dad and now he´s thinking about having another one, just like me... i hope we can do it.......

HI everyone!! i need some help with the radio of my 280zx, i´m trying to get my Datsun as original as is posible, and the next thing i'm working on is the radio. my car has the original radio but it's unplugged, and i would need the wire diagram of the radio, speakers, antenna.... does anibody have it or know where can i find it? I'd really appreciate any help Camilo Bogotá-Colombia

I've been around for a couple of months and i haven't introduced myself... My name is Camilo and i´m probably the only member from Colombia, i have a 1980 280zx 2+2 in good condition, i bought it 3 months ago and i´m triying to restore it, wich it is really hard here, because there is no junkyards and the dealers of Nissan have datsun parts no more... i´m wondering if you guys know if there is a nissan dealer in Montana where i have a friend who could buy for me the emblems and other things i would really apreciate any information!!! Camilo " and remember don't trash 'em, restore'em...."

The bottles of my ZX are fine but the cap wich it has an electric sensor that indicates the lack of water is broken, and i could'nt find a replacement, does anybody know if i can fit one from another car, by the way i´m in Colombia there is no Junkyards here!!! Camilo Bgotá - Colombia

I need some help!!!! the fuel pump of my 280ZX was loosing pressure so i took it off, and replaced it with an homologated one, because i couldn't fine the original. The one that i found is the pump that works in the german cars like old BMWs and Mercedes, and it has a pressure of 95 psi, what i want to know is, is that pressure the right one for my injection system or maybe is it too much or too less??? can somebody help me??? does anybody know what is the right pressure??? the car is running fine but sometimes it smells like gas!!!
