Are spacers needed for enkei92 mesh +25 offset
Please remember to post pictures of these wheels, I keep seeing 15x8's online but I can never see a difference between the zero offset and the 25. Thanks

Not sure where you are going to get 255/50/15 tires? Do they still make that size? Anyway, yes you will need spacers if these are going on an S30. The 25mm offset on the 15x8 enkei 92's will hit the stock springs, if you have installed coil overs I still think you would hit them with such a high offset. Ideally, you want get your wheels as close to zero offset as possible. The maximum without going too far past the fender would be a 25mm wheel adapter or 20mm if you want the wheels to be a little further into the wheel well. This would be perfect if you intend on running a 225/50/15 tire which is much more common size.

What wheels should I buy?
Mike, thank you for the kind words. I am currently busy taking a course but I will try to find some time to start updating it again. The reason why I did not include the Panasports and Rewinds in my initial post was due to the fact that I was only looking at newer (within the year wheel options). In hindsight, it was probably better to include any wheel that is available at a retailer or online for purchase.

Here you go, it is a little dated now. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?41478-Latest-wheel-selections-and-personal-reviews-which-one-is-your-favourite

What wheels should I buy?
Wheels are really all about personal choice. I did start what I thought was a really cool thread some time ago describing what is currently available for s30's but for some reason no one really seemed to care much or even thank me for taking the time to do it so I did not bother keeping it up. Just go with what style you like and if you need help with fitment there are many people on here who can help.

Z's at the Barrett Jackson auction.....OPINIONS
I do not like NADA, looked over their site one day for over an hour and was not impressed.

Comparing Zs to Porsches?
This may be a little harsh but you wanted a comparison. Never liked the brand nor does the wife and that is why they make different cars for different tastes. Where I am from during the summer months there are far fewer S30's on the road than your typical Porsche. Value is not important to me it's the look and style that count.

Scored a nice late 260z dash....but
I know for a fact it does not have a dash cap, I have one on my 280z and I would have spotted it immediately on this one. I will be removing it from the car and I will take a photo of the entire dash, the rest of it is mint from what I see.

Scored a nice late 260z dash....but
Here are the pictures. Zkars, thanks for the information. I thought there would be electrical issues, I am thinking that it is more with the connectors and not the actual instruments within the dash? I had to rewire the windshield washer bottle to fit with my 280 which had different connectors.

Scored a nice late 260z dash....but
You're correct, I was going to add some pictures soon, I just got the car less than 24 hours ago. I am noticing there is a slight rippling effect depending on the angle I am looking at it from.

Scored a nice late 260z dash....but
Hi everyone, I got myself a parts car today and thought i was getting a mint dash but noticed some bubbling at the top when I cleaned it up and looked at it more carefully. I have a couple of questions. First, is there a way to smooth out the bubbling? (The dash has no holes or cracks) Second, will this dash be a direct fit into my 1976 280z? (Keep in mind that the one in the parts car is from a late 260z which looks like the 280z dash, not the 240's. Thank you for any help or suggestions.

Car sits too high, springs maybe?
With a zero offset wheel you will actually be closer towards the suspension than the -17 wheel which would move closer towards the outer fender. Be careful unless you plan to remove them, you have ZG flares on your car, if I remember correctly you can use a very low offset wheel, 16x9 -13 in the front and a 16x9.5 -19 in the rear. This would make the wheel(s) sit just right in the wheel wells.

Well, I did not actually tell him that he should cut his springs, rather suggested it. I have come across over 20 cars including mine and friends who have never had issues with ride or alignment, first I have heard of this. My 280 rides better than my brothers Z which has a Tokico set up, go figure.
