Thats true. Matter of fact i was at the junkyard when they pulled in a 260 with no rust. A few dings and the engine was a little messed up, but for the most part, fixable, well i was still learnin about where to get parts from, (i should have bought the whole thing as a parts car for mine but, like i said i was new to Zs :cross-eye ). I pulled out parts left and right thou. THE PANELS WERE IN PERFECT SHAPE!!!!!!! They are even a little thick(sturdier) than the original 240z one which were in the car. One peice of advice i would give u thou. would be to not throw away anything! And be very careful with ur interior panels! They are old! AND expesive. If you need help and cant figure out something let us know. Someone here will know how to take it out. I hadnt found this site til it was to late. I broke the rear panels and and the center console. I was thinking "its an old car, i can find these parts cheap!" WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!!!! I had also been thinking to fiberglass the interior. Another long story. If thats the route ur going and ur rear panels are in good shape let me know. I want them. Anywho good luck.

I was actually gona do that but my dad didnt like that look (i'm mostly building the car for him). As for me. I like that BRE sytle. oh well. I do like the way it will look after paint thou. I'll post pics when its done.

Smart. thats good. thats what i'm doing. Taking advice from all u guys and various other forums and making my own "security system". Thanks for that advice thou. The tire flatnin tecniquie is funny. I think that if a theif runs into too many problems he will give up. So more than one technique is good

Most of these "security systems" are pretty funny but seriously thou. What if it happened to ur z? Idk about u guys but i dont want something to happen. Here are a few questions for u guys. - Does anyone have Lojack? Will it work on our cars? - Shock sensors are good but i dont want it going off all the time. Especially when i have 3 12"s in the back. - About the removable steering wheel, do they come for 240z? Who sells them? Ebay? MSA? VB? I got to look around. If anyones done it that would be great. - i like the kill switch idea. Very nice. HAs any one done this on they're z? U got a pic? How hard is it to install? - ED=Why are ignition cutoffs usless? - theianmonster. We think alike. If it was'nt for my dad i would definitally go with no keyholes. That what i'm going to do with my future 3 series - EScanlon- I do love the idea of the "La Cucaracha" going off. That would be so funny. About the nerve gas/poisons/self detonation bombs, i would probobly set them up wrong or something and have them go off on me. So yeah that idea is dead for me. Funny but no. :laugh: Thanks guys.
