Wouln't the aerodynamics be more of a problem than the engines power and gearing? There is always bonneville.

Try a shop that builds street rods. some of them still use lead. I agree with the others nothing wrong with bondo if it's used correctly. All body fillers can be abused.

Look for air leaks in the rubber boot between the flow meter and throttle body.

put a mark on the little slider on the inside and then put it in the freezer for a bit. The valve should move.

Coyotes are harmless. I used to stay with a friend out on his step dads wheat farm when I was young. You could hear them all the time. My friend and I usually slept outside. We used to get 30-50 bucks a pelt. Still see them alot. Fun to chase, hard to find if they don't want to be found. I've seen them chase cows and horses but never seen them actually kill a large animal. Always looked more like play. They will eat a dog right off its chain though.

Check for air leaks in the boot. Check in the pleats on the bottem of the boot. They tend to rot.

There is always bonnevile, Or the silver state classic and another open road race in texas. If the car is in peices now is the time to start beefing up the body. A cage put in all welds checked and rewelded etc etc.

I have had the speedo reading 130 mph. I don't know how accurate the speedometers in the zcars are but it was not a fun ride. My tires and suspension were not what they should of been. I think the main factor in the top speed of a z will be the aerodynamics. I have read some where that at a 100mph the rear end is actually 100lbs lighter than when the car is sitting still. I would spend more time figuering out how to get some down force than how to get alot more power. At 130 mph my car was floating it was not fun and I lost the desire for top speed for a while.

  24. My 78 doesn't have that doohicky. I have looked in my service manual and haven't found anything. I will look some more.
  25. I hope your surgery goes well. I would let your insurance deal with the other insurance company. I was t-boned by someone 2 months after I bought my jeep. My insurance company asked me if I wanted to handle it or let them. I let my insurance company deal with it. Who better to fight an insurance company than another insurance company.
