  1. The interior was great. Perfect dash. The seats are cracked, but have covers. I could use some carpet. Other than that it was great. Its pretty much stock. Fiberglass bumpers, shaved emblems. Motor and all of that is stock. I rebuilt the u-joints. The total is around $1000-$2000. I'm not exactly sure though. The interior is going to get completely overhauled. I need to replace the floors though. I'm going to turn the inside into the likes of an S15 Silvia. Should be rather nice. Otherwise, I'm picking up a 1969 Toyota Corona MKII 1900 Hardtop that I'm going to tub and make some sleeper out of. Yes, that's the Type III air dam, and a fiberglass rear bumper.

Not a big fan of the 2+2's, but welcome to the club, and good luck!
  3. Thank you everybody!
  4. I personally like the smaller flares.
  5. After a long time of waiting, almost three years of work (because I'm a teenager and funds are limited), she's roadworthy. Still a lot of work to do, but thanks for everybody who's helped me in the past, and a thanks for those whom will help me in the future. From This: To This:
  6. It might even be a bad hood to cowl seal. Mine isn't in right now and it smells like exhaust, and my step dad had the same probably in his Mercedes.

Not sure that I can help you with the parts, but welcome to the club regardless!
  8. Wish I lived closer to California, and wasn't in school.

Awesome, welcome to the club. You should update your profile with where in Flordia you are located, because there are probably others from the board in your neighborhood.

Welcome to the club, just replaced the u-joints in my '73, what fun! Hopefully yours aren't as horrible as mine were. Just remember to unbolt the pinion side first.
  13. I always jack up the car, put the jackstands on the solid suspension points, lower the car, then put the jack right under the diff. for extra safety.
  14. I just want the wheels and the triple carb. set up on the floor.

    Looks good!
  16. Congrats on the award.
  17. Welcome to the club; be sure to fill in your profile with your location, there are probably other Z enthusiests around your house.
  18. I just got done taking out and reinstalling my halfshafts. On the exhaust side, there is just enough room to squeeze a wrench in there, and there are certain points where you can wrench perfectly. Take the pinion side out so its easier to move around.
  19. Sakura Blossoms would be amazing, but too expensive.
  20. Custom carbon fiber parts.
  21. I was really bummed that I didn't make it out; maybe next year. Looked like a great show.
  22. I wouldn't be picky about colors; just find yourself a nice Z, that's all that matters. Update your profile with where you're located; that way we can let you know about cars in your area etc. Sorry to hear that car was such a mess though.

Check http://www.blackdragonauto.com ; they should have what you're looking for.
  24. I get most of my parts from MSA and Black Dragon Auto, but when I need something for cheaper, that is just to fix something minimal, I use Parts America. They have most parts for Z's for half the price, but its all maitenence parts, like carbuerator floats etc.
  25. So you're giving me this car when you're done right? Hahahaha.
