Yeah, my 240Z has metal hinges as well.
  2. I'm most definately putting an alarm in my Z. I'm also going to be installing a kill-switch, so I can disable the car when not in use. I'm also going to be shaving off all of the key holes on the car, everything will open by remote. - Ian
  3. Yeah, that's about it.
  4. The only structural things that are damaged are the front pieces that the headlight cases mount to (but may be able to be bent back and reinforced, then the cross member in front of the radiator needs to be cut out, and I just need to weld in a brand new piece. The '72 is another story. The passenger side is pushed too far in to align the door, so its my new parts car.
  5. Damn man, you beat me to it. I was going to make a carbon fiber dash and tail light plate...
  6. Hey, I got it for free man.
  7. Well, she's got a bit of damage, but there's a 1972 Datsun 240Z with a good front end that will serve as my parts car for this new one. It runs though, so that's good
  8. Well, let me know if you need any parts or anything.
  9. I like the front end, mostly because I'm planning on getting the same one, haha. The carbon-fiber BRE wing looks pretty good too, I'm not much of advocate for wings on Z's, but it doesn't look too bad. - Ian

Hello everybody, my name is Ian, and I'm 16. I've got a 1972 240Z and a 1973 240Z. Both are wrecks, but I'm going to use everything I've got to make one great Z. I'm going to have a bunch of spare parts, so if you're in need, I might be able to help you. - Ian

The car that took three years to build, two years to wreck.
