  1. The only thing you have to do, is modify the manifold gasket slightly, you need to add a few holes for the SU manifold. My L28 has them.
  2. Just a word of advice, use the head bolts to bolt the engine to the stand, won't go anywhere.

Well, I sold one today for $60, but you can pick up a brand new one from Black Dragon Auto. I think they're $100 or something, but they only come with the tinted strip at the top.
  5. What parts do you need? I might be able to help you out.
  6. This is the pop up style.
  7. I'm not trying to sell this to someone to destroy their roof, mearly to someone who needs to replace an old one.
  8. It still has the gasket, seems to be in good shape.
  9. Hey everybody, I know we all despise sunroofs, but I have one that I just pulled out of my '72. The glass and handle are in great condition, the trim was painted black but you could clean it back up. Make me an offer, I want it gone. Its taking up room. Thanks.
  10. I can't figure out how to take out the rear differential. Do you have drop the A-Arms and all of the suspension or am I missing something that is very obvious? Any help? - Ian.

Good luck on the car, try and save as much of the metal as possible because 2+2 body panels are very hard to come by.

  14. Its almost stripped all the way down already. Its been sitting here since January and I need it gone. I just hope none of these offers don't work.

Thanks, you guys are the best. - Ian.

I was wondering if anybody knows why they started counting from 0 when they started making the 2+2's. Why not include them in the 260/280Z #'s? I ask this because I have a L28 in my '71 and its VIN number is 44XXX, which doesn't compute with regular 280Z's, just the 280Z 2+2. Thanks!
  22. The L24 is plenty fast, fun little motor, I'd keep it.
  23. Sounds like you've got a long road ahead of you. The L24 is stock, most people opt for the L28 (280Z motor) or something even more extreme such as a V8 or SR20DET. The route you take is up to you. The are many many many different routes.
