He probably just had it powder coated then zinc'ed the mount.

Welcome to the club, just replaced the u-joints in my '73, what fun! Hopefully yours aren't as horrible as mine were. Just remember to unbolt the pinion side first.

I always jack up the car, put the jackstands on the solid suspension points, lower the car, then put the jack right under the diff. for extra safety.

I just want the wheels and the triple carb. set up on the floor.

I just got done taking out and reinstalling my halfshafts. On the exhaust side, there is just enough room to squeeze a wrench in there, and there are certain points where you can wrench perfectly. Take the pinion side out so its easier to move around.

Sakura Blossoms would be amazing, but too expensive.

I get most of my parts from MSA and Black Dragon Auto, but when I need something for cheaper, that is just to fix something minimal, I use Parts America. They have most parts for Z's for half the price, but its all maitenence parts, like carbuerator floats etc.

So you're giving me this car when you're done right? Hahahaha.

I have a sun roof in my '72 (Its a complete eye sore to me; I really want to rip it out) BUT, they do look cool from the inside. Arne; I feel bad now, because that guy who has that set of 14X6 Mesh at my house actually wants them back, when he told me that I was like "Oh, Arne wanted those...". Oh well. Great find!
