  1. i have a lot of stuff from them: billet quick steering knuckles (great deal compared to MSA), billet moustache bar, wilwood big brake kit, billet front control arm assembly (absolutely beautiful!), rear chome-moly control arms, both control arms completely adjustable (front: camber and castor, rear: camber and toe in). really like thier stuff... i also bought my R200 clutch LSD from him as well...

i just got the wilwood kit from AZC...pretty $$$ but they are SOOO SEXY! oh yea...i havent put them on yet, gotta get some wheels to fit over them...thats the only drawback i see, pretty much rules out any 15 inch rims
  3. is the group buy still on? anyone know if those sportmax will fit the AZC wilwood kit?

AZC just came out with thier new style of coilovers, so i doubt anyone will have any input on these. they look really nice, and beefy at that...the only opinion i have is that it is all one unit, and that can be good or bad...good at that it will be really solid and strong, but if something breaks, your SOL
  5. dealing with a 72 240Z here.... when taking apart the rear suspension for coilover install, i decided to re-do the wheel bearings as well. when taking off the nut that holds the axle in place, the two were diffrent sizes (driver side vs pass side). also, the axle spline/companion flange are different sizes as well (driver side companion flange wont fit on pass. side axle, vice versa). is that supposed to be like that or was an axle replaced by a po? if so, how can i tell which was the origional???

Does any one have a set of 74-78 front hubs and would be willing to sell them?
  7. rztmartini posted a post in a topic in Wheels & Brakes
I am still confused on the offset of the rims. so if there is 0 offset the hub is in the center of the width of the rim? so a +15 offset would move the rim to the outside 15mm or inside 15mm? ------ ===| ------ is this positive offset? (i know the pic is not accurate but just for argument's sake)

okay. thanks for the info. i also wanted to know what size tires would fit on a 7.5" rim. on a side note, i see that you are in hawaii. i am moving there next winter (oahu), do you know if there are any plans to reopen the speedway or if not build anotherone??

okay...first: what is the widest tire you can put onto a 7.5" wide rim? 7" wide? will a 15x8 with 15offset fit without rubbing with coilovers?
  10. hi. i just bought a z and the wiring is a total mess...speaker wire was used to "attempt" to power a headlight and the fusebox is a whole other story. the connector on one side was broken out and then directly wedged into the other connector, apparently this guy didnt couldnt afford fuses. what would i have to do in order to use your harness? what is included with it? i may have to replace the entirety or the electrical system in my car. good thing i dont have to mess with FI/Electrical ignition!
  11. that exact problem happend to me. i was leaking clutch fluid...had to fill it back up again after about 10 miles driving around town, kept having to pump it up to regain some pressure. so a airy hydraulic system may be the culprit.
  12. what psi do you have the regulator set for? would that differ if it were dual SU/single holley...etc or would that depend on the carb?
  13. so with the RX7 pump and regulator, that will eliminate the mechanical fuel pump alltogether?

what kind of cam profile/piston (compression) would be best if i was planning on doing an "expiramental" supercharger setup later on, but for now best n/a driving?
  15. haha well i wouldnt know...just trying to offer solutions to posted problems. haha i didnt think that it made that little of a diffrence.

wow thank you for that information. i really appreciate your help. now about the replacement bushings/parts...can they be ordered through nissan or would it be best/only way to go with aftermarket? and thanks again, its these such helpful and knowlegable (sp? ) posts that make this forum so helpful.

cool thanks for all your input. how about if I were to use the arizona z car holley carb conversion...i can weld (shaky skillz tho), and can work a lathe, so some fabrication wouldn't be much of a problem. but would the holley setup "in theory" work?
  18. does Z therapy have a website? where are they located? :edit: nevermind...google answered my noob question
  19. ah. i can see clearly now...so in order to solve that would be to start visiting the gym
  20. what if you just got a heavy shift knob to compensate for the removed mass?? my 2cents...

Is it possible to make a supercharged (vortech style) L24 in its carbureated form? any input is appreciated! Would it even be worth the effort?
  22. for the rx7 pump, does it have to be the 3rd gen or the 2nd gen "turbo II"? will an aftermarket pump work as well?
  23. is there a way to run a new fuel pump to the stock SU's (with a regulator)? thinking about putting in a fuel cell...thanks!
