1978 280Z - Here are some pics of my Z without the front ugly bumper! opinions?
Leave it off, and get some sort of air dam. I have the MSA areo II on mine and it looks so much better. While your at it remove the rear one as well. Those bumpers weigh a lot. I think they are close to a hundred pounds each with the shock absorbers. Plus thier hideous.

Sorta new.
The 83 isn't much different from the 76, Same engine. I've been working on my cars as long as I've had cars. And I've owned nothing but Early Z cars for the past 8 years, so I've gotten to know them pretty well. The 280's aren't much different from the 240's either. Except for the fuel injection and it's a pretty eimple system. Thanks though.

Your First car.
Do you have a pic of that 810? I'd kinda like to have one of those 2 doors.

Your First car.
My first car was a 1972 Oldsmobile Delta 88, 4 door. That dam thing was friggin HUGE! 455 V8 that drank gas like crazy, but made ridiculous torque! The damn thing would idle up hills. It was actually in decent shape for an $800 car. The paint was a sort goldish green very 70's hue. Vinyl top was in great shape, no rust expect for the rear bumper where the chrome was peeling off. The interior was pretty decent too. Cream white vinyl seats had a few rips in them but nothing serious, the carpet and dash were in excellent shape and were both a lovely shade of avacado green. I had it for a year intill the tranny blew from too many school parking lot burnouts. Donated to the Salvation army.

Sorta new.
I've checked this site many times over the years, but this is my first time actually posting. Hello all. I have two Z cars a 1976 280Z 2+2(running project car) and my 1983 280ZX N/A(Daily Driver.) I usually do My Z web posting on Got-Z.com but I thought I'd pop in here every once in awhile too. :classic:

Hello. I was driven away by the 240sx crowd.
They are here in Texas. A lot of snobbery and poking fun, Very little help or appreciation.
