I tried and tried and tried to get my car started last night then I figured out that I need a electrical(280z remember) fuel pump. AQnyway $289 for regular $3.00 for premium(which I was using to start up my car).

  17. So if I take of the valve cover and their is dirt in it how do I clean it and what could it do to my Z if anything?
  18. Hey all it's me ok this has been bugging me for a while now but when I first looked at my car before I bought it I saw a oil spray mark underneath my hood. The valve cover doesn't have a oil cap so I think busted the head when he was going 150 mph down the highway. But, anyway do you think there is a lot of dust or dirt where the oil cap screws on to? If it's yes how do I get it out?
  19. I feel for you!
  20. All I am saying is what I think about the topic. If you go to all the junkyards all you find is 240's and 260's. Have you even ever been here Dogma 240? :ogre:

The piece of fender that you have a rust hole in you can get a cutting disc for a grinder and grind that piece off and Victoria British sells that piece it's about, $40.00 Also check your frame rails for rust(it's a pain in the arse).

You can get a cap which is less than a dash but, usually if people are restoring a car they usually get a whole new dash. It's like a paint job people just paint over it or get a dash cap and cover it up. But it doesn't fix the problem your just covering it up.
