Springs
Abas, thankyou for your help. It's an ex-US car. Unfortunately I can't check before the weekend 'cause the springs are in a garage some miles away. As far as I remember they were of equal length. Let's see. Rolf

Springs
Hi all, I got 4 original but used springs for my early '72 Z. Is there an easy way to find out which are the 2 springs for the rear? Thanks for your help Rolf

White leather seats
Howdy Mr. Camouflage. Yes, it is a maglight on top of the Retrotrip. This is a distance counter that works exact on 10 meters, necessary for rallye driving. The switces are for the "fog"-lights, the Flexilight, the el. fuel pump, the rear halogen-light and an additional plug for the rear compartment.

Todays favorite
Billcapp, good question. To finetune the mixture there is a screw underneath the carb with 8 or nine sectors. I gave a different colour to each sector and painted the same order of colours on the top. There I marked the colour that just is tuned and drive for some miles. Than I looked at the colour of the spark plug and if necessary I tune the mixtzure leaner or more fat and mark the new colour on the top. In the end I have marked the best mixture for each carb and noticed it in my manual.

Work over winter is done
dhoneycutt,it's the original. I polished it myself, coloured the top inside the frame red with Hammerite. The chromed letters are from a decoration (furniture, curtains, assecoires)shop. Unfortunately the garage wasn't that worm, took Sherry instead.
