That's nice, guus. I have it as a red Firepatrol car and I've found it full of dust in a cigarette-shop in Spain. When I asked for it the saleasperson came with the wrong box. What was in? A Z31 Turbo in white, scale about 1:14, as Police car. Good luck for all who look out for Z/ZX modelcars. Last week I got a 240Z racer (similar to the BRE car) in 1:18, made by Yatming. Good shape but very wrong wheels. So I made big ones my own. Rolf

Hi Zed, I like what you do for us. It#s fun to print out and to compare the different impressions. Would you please try a yellow Z with a white hood (up to the front windoe) and a front fender that is white on top, justt opposite to the black of the red works rallye cars. Thanks Rolf

That's great! Can you also do other colours for us? I for instance would like to know how your Z would look in yellow wit a white hood and front fender (onthe upper side) in white. Rolf

Put out aill sparks for easier turning of the engine. Put into the hole of #1 a stiff wire with a soft coat (about 7 inch long) that has a little weight (soft material) at the one end that you put into that #1 hole. The stick acts like a needle in your speedometer. The longer outer end goes down when cylinder #1 is rising and it goes up when the cylinder goes down. At the lowest point you have TDC. Take care nothing will remain inside when you take the wire out. Good luck. Rolf

If you can look at one of the Kyosho 1:18 models of a works rallye car you will see it quite exactly. In the litarture there are also pictures of a Z that rolled on the roof at a rallye in the british forests . exhaust up. I also remember that z-point had a pic from the rear of his car in his gallery. As far as I remember there is only one muffler in the middle. The 2 pipes coming from the header come together thereand 2 pipes leave that mufflöer going straight to the rear. At a stock 240Z I would fear that the fuel in the cell could get too hot. Rolf R

Fred, thank you for the pictures and the report. Why is Europe so big and you are so far away? Thanks to Guus, too. Rolf

I'm very, very sorry that you understood me wrong! I do respect those who fought and still fight for our freedom very much, perhaps more than you expect and I'm really sad for every lost young life and the tragedies for the families. Here in old Europe we very well know what that means! I have done my job at the iron curtain and your brave soldiers had also been there. The soldiers do a great job and follow their orders, strongly believing in the wisdom of their leaders .... and that is the point where I add Questionmarks today when I try to rise questions on the backgrounds, the gratitude of the freed and the handling of the future. Sorry

When I look at the latest pictures from Iraq, the lootings, the protests against the US occupation, the Schiit's political targets to make Iraq another Iran (Khoumeni state), the suspicious run on Iraq's oil and business, the "unpolite" threads against France and by that the unhelpful discussions at UN and between us western countries, was that all worth to die, even to fight? Was it really for Freedom for those, who don't understand (or don't want to understand) what Freedom means or was Freedom in this case only a welcome argument to motivate young people to fight and die for something else? What are we crying for? Blind obedience? The future did not become easier IMO Rolf

I could buy such a car, but why pay for the shipping of a wreck to Europe? The buy is not illegal, illegal could be the use, but this is depending Rolf

Does any one have an early Z ("date first sold" before 9/ '71) that is just wrecked, will be wrecked soon or that is only used as a parts car that never will revive? I'm interested in the VIN labels ( dash, driver' B-pillar, engine bay), the title and a bill of sale. If you have that, please make me an offer by Private Message (PM) Rolf
