  1. Mike, Let me guess, you went to look at the Red 240Z at "Classic and Investment Autos" in Gainsville, GA that was listed on Hemmings? Your right, that thing really needs a lot of work. Did you notice that the dash cover was not even attached? I also have an MGB! Are you a professional restorer, or do you just do your own cars? Shoot me an email or PM with your contact info, I may be able to help you out!
  2. Please post a photo of your car once you get the wheels on! I am thinking of going to these as well and would love to see how they actually look on the car!

I would have to quote Pink Floyd and say "Any Colour You Like". As long as you like it, then its the right color! Personally, I prefer red or orange/red :-)

The thing that makes me mad is when gas prices jump up $.10 because the per barrel price goes up a couple of bucks, but they don't jump back down the next day when the price per barrel goes down a couple of bucks. Let's face it, US Oil Companies have figured out that we will buy gas no matter if it is $1.00 a gallon or $2.50 a gallon, so they naturally charge the higher price. The thing that really gets me mad is knowing I am getting screwed by the oil companies and I can't really do anything about it, and to top it off, they don't even have the courtesy to provide a complimentary jar of Vasaline!
  5. Love those ...'cars'!

Hey sphy, I just got a '73 240Z as well, only mine won't be here for a few more weeks as it makes its tour around the country on the back of a trailer. Did you buy yours locally here in Atlanta? Cheers! Doug

Run, don't walk, away from Flashback!! The owner, Richard Gossett, started out as Olde English Garage. He moved to Cumming and changed the name of the business (and sold it to himself), I suspect mainly in an effort to avoid liability for not delivering what was promised on a number of guys cars, including my '66 MGB. Quote from him "I only purchased the assets of Olde English Garage, not the liabilities". I have been trying for a long time now to get him to either fix my MGB right (the list of things done wrong is long and includes both bodywork and mechanical things) or refund my $$$, neither of which he has been willng to do. In fact, I have been driven to thinking of legal action as a last resort. My current MGB mechanic has also had to go pick up and fix several cars from them that were messed up and the owners got tired of dealing with Flashback for satisifaction. So, my advice based on the bad experiences I and several others have had is to stay clear of these guys. They talk the talk, but don't walk the walk! Doug
