1st of all, WOW!!!! I can't beleavethat this thread is alive!? al'z easy on your self, make a small study before you attack please, you will notice that the term IPO was commonly used that time while I assume that you might didn't even know about his forum.. please, do as I do, before I reply like this at any forum, I look at the joining adte of the member, just to know how to talk to him.. I'm not pissed off, but man, this is a dead thread and no need to bring it up again just because of your complain. I don't understand how did you read it in the first place! EScanlon I appreciate your understanding, thank you my friend. as SBlake01 said, I regretfully sold my Z for an E39 M5, which I also sold, because it didn't have the "Lust of the Z" I'm having a harder time with my job, I even started searching for a nother Z, perhaps a 68-72 stingray, but those are way expensive to import (15000-24000)$ I might buy a brand new Jeep Wrangler JK sahara now, and I might buy a 240Z as a project, I'm addicted to Z's, as many told me, I'll regret selling the previous not. what is the best about the reply here, I'm still a member of this great forum between those old good friends.. My regards to Zbane and Montezuma:D cheers guys.

I'm not much into VIN's, for me it means nothing.. I understand that it is a factor that rises the Z's price.. but I think it had dents, look at the picture showing the the hood from below. look at the link below, it is in new mexico.. but this Z draws a smile on the face:) Nota280, allright.. thanks alot. the Z new mexico (if it is still for sale) http://www.classiczcars.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=2031&cat=1

Dan, I found a erally good looking Z on the club's classifieds. http://www.classiczcars.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=2031&cat=1 but no response to the posts.. I guess it is not his car.. but the problem that I have with other states than california and mexico is that I don't have a guy who deals with shipping cars. I need a reliable person to do that, otherwise, sending the whole cash via a trnsfer and wait doesn't feels so good.. as if I would like to ship a car to the US.. will you buy it if you know nobody personally from bahrain? I'm in the begining of my career, and I don't have money to play with.. I must be wise in choosing the right car.. BTW, I see that your Z's value is going up.. I hope that you get a super deal from ebay.. cheers.

so I'm planning to get an S30 Z! 240 or 280?
AndysPlit, Montezuma.. thanks guys!! you are the best! if you live in the gulf you'll know why do we insist to have the A//C in the first place:) a used 2004 corolla is sold more than a 2004 BMW 318! all because of the A/C:stupid: but I agree with you.. rust is the first issue.. A/C guys here are not that good with Z's , I don't want to risk it with them.. but I appreciate the advice.. thanks to all.. man I lvoe this forum:love:

FairladyS30 man, sorry for that, take it easy. be happy that you are safe and nothing happened to you. it is a loss what happened to your Z but rememeber WHO is more valuable , the car/driver?

1976 280Z Bob Sharp Racing GT-33
Sailor Bob, well, allready out of budget:) I knew that the car's price would shoot up, and I'm so sure that the car will go more because of it's historic value upon it's good condition. Montezuma, yes I rather go for a cali. Z, inspection and shipping will cost me muchmore than anywhere in the US.. my Texas guy is a corvete guy, I mailed him and he seemed to me not much familiar with Z's. I'm allready digging craigslist:) I've seed few, but mostly in AZ and west side of the US! I'll take my time searching for a good one.. I have a friend who is also looking for a 240 to rebuild (must be a 240) but needs interior to be good and minor rust is accepted for him.. he is a workshop guy:) I hopw that Daniel will get much more price than what he expected, so he can buy another Z because I'm so sure that he'll feel sorry for selling his Z:D cheers..

Montezuma, ebay works fine within the US, even though there are some problems regarding showing or not showing the defects. in my case it is going internationally, means big loss of money and time in case it doesn't work, besides, I never dealed with ebay and I called a guy here who told me not go for it through ebay.. Montezuma, I rather wait for a chance that makes me feel comfortable than rushing out for a chance (which can be goold) that would make me uncomfortable. I know that you are telling me that it is a rare car, I know that too.. but what I needed in the first place is an S30, it wouldn't matter if it was a GT-33 or not. I'd love to have a special one like this one, but as I told, I don't want to rush.. if I find someone who can ispect it the way that makes me feel ok then I would go for it, if not, then I wont fool arround and bother the owner with questions and many emails while there might be closer buyers which might be welling to pay even more than I can.

Leaking Trans Fluid??
dogma, I know that you are sure that it is not a transmission fluid, read the post carefully and you'll find out that I was supporting you oto confirm that it is an antifreeze. I was replying to him.. cheers.
-
Leaking Trans Fluid??
what would a transmission fluid do under the dash?? are you sure that it is transission fluid?perhaps it is just an antifreeze as Dogma said. I've not experienced oil lines under the dash area.. when the car is cold, open the radiator cap and compare the color of the fluid inside with the dripping fluid's color.. or at least you'll notice a lower level in the first place.

Motezuma.. I'm serious, but the car is in Mechigan, which is so far from those guys taht I know, besides doing it through ebay wont work for me.. the GT-33 has the same interior exept fot the the materials of the seats and door panels, so it can be done in Bahrain. and about the crack in the dash. I think that it is possible to fix in Saudia arabia, I heaed that there is a big workshop that does super jobs with dashboards, and also glass sunroofs that looks so original (sliding type) there is also a great guy who can wrap the dash with leather and some nice stiched trims, called "Freddy" if you heared about him.. great jobs! he does Rolls Royce interior!

1976 280Z Bob Sharp Racing GT-33
WOW! 3000$ during one day.. well I assume that the car WILL go up more than I expected!? mention that the reserve not met yet met, if the story about that Z is true, then the owner would'nt let go that easy even if the car needed just minor repairs..
