thanx Stephen,but the what is the configuration of the vacume tank? one end comes from where and where does it go? does it have to be in series with the vacume valve of the AC? b4 or after? I have no clue man.. I'll check the PCV, I hope that it will be solve from it, coz i have a whole intake from a nother Z in the garage .. thanx

i baught a 1977 280Z and i found some cancelled things in it, like the cainster! I couldnt find it under the hood, did they come with cainster or didnt? but the thing that drives me nuts is that tank or what it is called in the picture! can anyone tell what is it? and what is it's configuration, coz i hate cancelled things in the car! and in the other picture is the throttle in my car, it is wet of oil always, a guy told me that the engine needs overwhole! is that true? if not can u tell me how to eleminate this prob.? thanx

thanx bro, but i 4got to attach the pic last time:( well it is attached now.. have anybody any idea about it? the picture show a cut away muffler which i took from the lectures from the web site i noticed last time.. in the rear views of the car the muffler is seen and tell me guys if it looks wierd or not, coz it's bottom is higher than the fuel tank.. is it ok to leave it like this and mount a resonator? or just replace it with a quiter muffler? and sorry i guess that the pipe is a 2.5"

TomoHawk thanks for the file u sent man, i printed it out and I'll go to the muffler shop to ask him if he can do a good one like it, but r u sure that it is the same internal design? adn plz can u find me the outer dimonsions of it? the diameters of the oval shape and the length of the box? zhead240 the liter of fine petrol cost approx. 0.266 USD/liter, that is a dollar and something pe gallon as i guess, the lower petrol chich has the octane of 90 or less if I'm not wrong costs 0.2USD per liter which is 0.8 USD per gallon, I hope that i gave the correct figures:) we drive on the right side as normal people;) I cant imagine myself shifting the gears with the left hand Gary I dont think that there would be any difference between my z and the once u have there in the US, coz my Z s braught from Texas 11 years ago:) thats why I'm goining this forum, coz answers can be gotten from here.. Victor Laury yes nissan are well sold here since a long time, but unfortunately our grandparents and fathers didnt care to buy sports cars that time, they were mostly attracted to datsun 280C or 200-240L, they claimed that z cars are for teenagers.. so most of the 240-260-280Z or maybe all of them were braught from the US untill the nissan 280ZX '83 came with gullf Spec's here so many people bught them and there were really many of them even they were so cheap and not attractive, I had a 83 280ZX b4 bot cantcompared with the Z! the Z s more classy.. but nower days the Z cars dissapeared, guys from kuwait baught the most of them for race and dunout porposes, the others are kept inside and hidden! coz in bahrain we have really nice clean cars, my car is braught from the US as i told, still stock since that time, and will remain so.. I have no idea about the shipping cost, i guess u can get it from the post there in the US maybe!? and spare parts here for an old Z car is hell! i have to pick up my part a hang arround with it between there spare parts shops until i find a similar part! i had a problem finding a tie rod man!, the base of the flange (outlet of the block wher the heat sensor is mounted) s NOT AVAILABLE HERE AT ALL!! well, have to be carfeull on my car :stupid: thanks guys, I hope that i gave u good info. I have a 280Z 1977, and I have a workshop manufactured rear exhaust box, it s noisy and have circular shape, I need to manufacture a rear box which has similar shape as the original one, which is mounted vertically so it will be in the same level with the fule tank below.. does anyone know the inside design of the box so i can give the sketch and manufacture it? by the way, i have a 3" exhaust pime with half headders, the middle box is eliminated.. thanx..
