I love cars too much to ever get tired of it. Thanks for the advice, note well taken, and if it ever does happen I will find a new job. by the way it is 72.
  2. Holy crap. I could build five z's like that for 60k, buy in bulk. Ha Ha. 19k for a 73 auto is just crazy. don't really like the colour either. this guy is a joke and needs to do a little more research, and get a new mechanic. Wonder if an oil change cost him $200? but if he does sell, what an investment. around 4k new to 20+k 30 years later. thats a 500% return. better than any savings bond. I think I will save all my cars from now on. Ha Ha

nice boat! Yeah got less than a year, but i am going to college for auto repair. Plus I have a family now. I don't want to leave my 4 month old son for a year. Plus the af is just not for me. Don't get me wrong i have the utmost respect for the military, and it definitly changed my life for the better, but I just have other plans. I love working on learning about, watching shows about cars. I drive my wife nuts. you gatta do what you love or you won't be happy.

My first car was a 91 honda prelude. I paid way to much for it. It only took 20k for the motor to throw a rod through the block. So I replace the motor and traded it in for a 2001 integra gsr. Loved that car, but could not work on it because it was a daily driver. Then my wife and I had a son, so we traded it in for a 02 nissan altima v6 automatic. I can't stand automatic. That is why I bought a project z car.

I just bought a rough looking 240z on ebay for $910. Need alot of work, but I have been looking for this car for a while now. Finnaly found one with a title in my buget. I hope to pick it up in the next week or two. Can't wait to get started on my project. I am going to school to be a auto mechanic, and I am currently a weapons mechanic in the air force. My car knowlege is slowly increasing, but there is still so much I have to learn. That was the main reason I picked the z. I also love japaneese sports cars. So why not retore thier first one. They need to have a spell checker on this sight, because my spelling is horrible. so hopefully I don't offend anyone when I spell something incorrectly. I will post pics when i get the car.
