Non A/C part needed for swap
My water **** has recently started leaking. While I'm changing that out I will also be replacing the heater core, whatever new hoses are available and the part I will be needing. My '74 had A/C.(no longer) The hose connector between the engine compartment and the passenger side of the firewall is currently with the A/C vacuum water **** that comes just before the water valve that you adjust the temperature with. I no longer need that piece. What I'm looking for is the Non A/C hose connector. I have a pic of what I'm looking for. This can also be found in the '74 FSM on AC-55. <-- Click to enlarge this may also be the same in earlier and/or later models, not sure about that. Let me know if anyone has access to one of these that would be willing to part with it. Thanks Bobby

R200/mustache bar nut size?
Tried to find it in my FSM some other Z books I have and searched the Z car forums but no luck. I've been checking but cannot seem to find the size of the two nuts that attach an R200 diff to the mustache bar. Size and pitch? (16MM X 1.5 maybe?) I'm doing a swap on my Early 260Z and had assumed the R200 were the same as the R180 diff. and was going to use the R180 nuts. Ah well:finger:Thanks ahead of time. Bobby

Did the auto out swap. What diff?
Thanks ezzzzzz I do have some mods. Triple webers, header, Monza exhaust, lite weight flywheel, Centerforce Stage 2 clutch. Daily driver when it's sunny......... No winter use (I'm in the northeast) Would the scenario change if I also swapped to a 5 speed?

Did the auto out swap. What diff?
Hey all. I've read some conflicting thoughts on what differential I should be using. I have a early '74 260 that had an auto. I did the conversion to a 4 speed ( I already had one from a 260Z ) The stock diff I believe 3.545 that was being used with the auto is still there. What should or would be best to be using. I'ld rather have more lower end. Thanks ahead of time Bobby

Same thing happened to me about a year and a half ago. Was driving me crazy why I couldn't get it running properly. Well, here's why........ Damn ring! I've since installed a completely new head.
