240k tie-rod end/ idler arm probs
It's from the C210 Manual but same setup. Note for some reason the car in the manual is LHD so item 3 and 7 would be the other way around on our cars.

Been looking on the SuperPro website for suspension bushes for my C210 Skyline but I can't work out what a "Strut Bar To Chassis Mount Bushing" is. I don't know if its what is normaly called a Tension Rod or a bush that goes ontop of a strut tube? Heres a pic from the website and partnumber SPF0927K Thanks for any help anyone can provide. Will

my engine update
Yea like I say the RB26 has over 300BHP stock when you put them on a dyno, so don't always believe all cars only have 280BHP stock Basicly if you put a new exhaust system, air filters and up the boost a little you have your self 400BHP for just over a grand.

my engine update
Hmm this should have been posted alot earlier but anyway... RB26 is 280BHP like all cars from Japan, well top power. But depending on which RB26 they can be upto about 330BHP ish, RB25 is 250BHP stock I think or there abouts. Erm to start with I recomend front and rear strutbraces. Seem or stitch welding would help, but only do about 2cm at a time then go to the other end and side of the car, to let the previous cool down to prevent warping. Do the C110's have a firewall behind the rear seats? The C210 does, may be an idea to add one, or a kind of X brace instead? Also a bar to join the front end of the 2 chassis rails, where the front valance is would help?

my engine update
Hehehe random post there. Anyway you seem that have a more straight forward and simpler job putting that in than trying to get about 400-450BHP from the stock L engine. Are you building anything like a cage to try and stop the body twisting in half?

L-series Engine
Wow Alan is there anything you don't know? Its also been an honor to have Alan "Mr Nowledge" in person in the past Isn't Infiniti just a name used for some of the export cars sold in USA? Like Datsun and Lexus are mainly just export names (Bar Datsun was used ages ago in Japan which came from DAT then Datson then again in 1932 I think to Datsun.) I find it quite odd how information can get so twisted from the truth at times, I guess it's like Chinese whispers. PS any tips on where to find info about Mr Hiroshi Iida as I can't seem to find anything on English or Jap search engines.

L-series Engine
You will find that with most Jap cars. Same make of heater motor, lights, air box (my Skyline shares the air box with some old Scoobys) diffs, calipers etc. I think what differes between Jap and non Jap cars is that in Japan they prefer to reuse a part from another company / shared instead of each producing their own version but slightly crapper as they can pool together and make a decent one in the first place. But with English cars etc they always produce their own parts, but thats why I think English etc cars are not very good quality as they have to spend part of the budget remaking parts and tooling, when there could be another part already made for use. Just my idea. Also bit of info on Lights to show they use the same company. My C210 Skyline uses Koito front and IKI rear lights My AE86 uses Koito fron and I cant remember the rear. But the AE86, S13 and some Rx7's all use the same size pop up front lights but dont know if they are the same make though. Also a quick little Table (not a full list, just a quick search) Make.........Used by IKI............Nissan, Isuzu, Koito.........Nissan, Toyota, Mazda, Suzuki Stanley......Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi, Suzuki Also If I remember right my mates Scooby has got a alternator or starter (can't remember wich) made my Mitsubishi, but the lecy side of Mitsubishi. Right I will shut up now as this has gone way off topic about L Engines.

available suspension upgrades
Does anyone know what parts will swap onto the C210? Also does the C210's in OZ have IRS or some form of solid axle? Just that I found some C210 parts in OZ and want to know if I can use them on my car with IRS and rear discs etc.
