I voted profile, but I think the hood is the best part of a Z car.

Dang, it's hard enough for me to get my big butt in my Z, let alone trying to lure women in there! But that's cool that they are featuring a Z car. -Byron

Right now I don't have any center console in my '71 so I'd definately be interested.

I went with the factory color but I really like Orange on most Z's. Maybe grey primer should have been a choice!

Thanks for the kind words guys. Tom- The floor pans have been cut out and replaced with new metal, they are pretty solid. Both frame rails have about a 5 inch rust hole. The area under the battery box has been cut out and fixed. You can see through the rear deck plate due to so much rust. It's got the rear vented deck lid, I suspect that water has ran in quite a bit there. Stop by K-town any time, there is actually a pretty large Z following in these parts, and of course the Zbarn is up here too! Chris- My serial number is HLS30-11054, thanks for the encouragement!

Hi all, I've been visiting this site as a guest for a long time, but finally registered. I've got a 71' 240z that I picked up for 800 bucks from a guy that was turning it into a drag car. He pretty much stripped the interior and burnt up most of the wiring, so I have a lot of work cut out for me. The body is decent. It has a 260 engine and it runs pretty well. Has some rust in the frame rails. I'm in the middle of upgrading the ingnition. You can check out some pics in my gallery. -BC
