Thanks Stephen. That's a helpful diagram.

Can someone out there help me find a diagram of the heater/ AC ducting for a 1975 280Z? We stripped our car and now are in the process of reassembly and the heater ducting is a great puzzle. Maybe a picture of the complete heater assembly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Thanks Ron, For the very thing you mentioned about relating to a teenager is why this project has been so special. Plus Z cars are just too cool!
  4. Just this last week, I went through the receipts and almost fell over when this $550 project car for my 15 year old son has passed the 5K mark already! (and we did a lot of the labor ourselves). Still got the interior, stereo system, weatherstripping and a few more miscellaneous items to go. Next Z hopefully will not be quite as much of a "project" as this one. Still a lot of fun though!
  5. I'm new to this. This will be my first time posting any comment anywhere. The power of the Z can move mountains! My name is Bill, and I'm 43 with a wife, 2 daughters, a son, a son-in-law, 2 cats and a Papillon dog named Pierre that is my wife's trade for me working with my son and spending every extra cent on our 1975 280z 2+2. We resurrected this tired old Z into a really cool first car for my son who turns 16 in April, 2006. We've so far gone through the front and rear supension, brakes, front-end, rust removal, body work, body mods, paint, wheels, a lot of parts scavenging. To say the least this is a lot of fun and it gives me an opportunity to spend quality time with my son. Although he might say otherwise after being tongue-lashed after I bust my knuckles trying to remove some old stuck, rusty part from the car. We are currently putting the finishing touches on the exterior and will then move on to the interior, engine and exhaust system as our thin budget allows. I would definitely like to purchase another later model Z for my own daily driver when and if the right opportunity arises. We really enjoy this website and my son (kingdavid280) will be adding pics of our project soon to his gallery. Check it out when you get a chance. _____________________________________________________________________ To Z or not to Z. That is the question.
