keep/sell my z? value?
Hey Gen Z, I am up here in Sanat Rosa and know of a pretty good honest mechanic up here, only problem i cannot remember the name of the garage he works in:stupid:. I know it is on Piner road.. i will get the name and e-mail it too you. I agree by the way with the other post about your problem, i think it is probably ignition/starter related. I had a simular problem in my 240 and found it to be starter related. Anyway good luck and i'll talk with you soon. Z ya, Paul

Honk if you drive a Z, or Where's the love?
While at a recent NASA event at Sears point i ran into a guy who had a new 350... Nicest guy in the world. He saw my Z and called me over to talk. This was his 4th Z and he said he loved it (not as much as the 1st gen he said). He showed me around his car (Pretty sweet by the way, I did not like them much initially) and then he pulled out pictures from his wallet of all his cars, Not his kids, his car's, it cracked me up). He was a true enthusiust, He had, over the years five or six different cars for racing. He was very, very nice and humble even though i knew he had lot's of money, he came across as a true Z man from way back. One thing he did say about the new Z was on the track it felt like a tank compared to his old Z's (weight wise), although he said it handled like a dream and he regularly blows away Vipers in it. Very pleasant man and a true Z man at heart. Z ya

Autocrossed
Hey guys, raced my 260 this weekend at an Autocross at Sears Point (I will never call it Infenion), the event was for Cobra's and Nasa racing on the main track and a small autocross at the end on one of the parking lot's. Anyway, i had the second fastest time (behind a race ready 65 Mustang fastback with race tires and a 427) beating all the Cobra's that choose to Auto x. There is something to be said for the Z car handling! My 260 is stock except for headers and beafier sway bars. Had a great time (first time) and have now got the racing bug bad!!!! Had fun talk to you all later, Zlish

how do i go fast??!!?!?!?
Well, i have both a Nissan hi output engine (L26) and a v8 in two different Z's, and without question the v8 will walk over ANYTHING that says Nissan on the engine block. The "Z" enthusiast per say are bias in their opionon's. I consider myself to be a very loyal Z enthusiast, however if you want to go fast from stoplight to stoplight ( or preferably on a 1/4 mile track) there ain't a ricer out there that will beat a hipo V8. Just my 2 cents. Send the Honda's home crying....

Hey, another bay area here, it would be nice to have a meet somewhere in the bay area! The ZONC club really is not a bay area club, so there really is not a good club in this area. Would love to take a tour through the wine country with a bunch of Z's! Anyway nice to meet ya all! Z ya later,

My Babies
Thanks cap, I bought the 260 before i knew much about Z's and there value. But for 1800.00 i could not pass it up especially for a DD and the fact that it had a newly rebuilt engine in it. Besides most would not know it waas a 260 unless you told them that it was (other than the experts around here like Escalon, ). Z ya later

My Babies
Thanks guys, i am a little sesitive i guess! I did not swap out the 240 i bought it that way because i was going to do it to the 260 but the money spent on the 240 was less than i would of spent on the swap out on the 260. The 240 is immaculate, i have to do nothing except maybe some suspension and brake upgrades. thanks again. Jeff my 240 is 30 over as well with TRW forged pistons. I have a Sagina tranny and a R200 rear end. 750 double pumper to top her off, hooker headers (one piece welded). Two oil filters (see pic). Needless to say i have had lots of little Honda's thinking there racing a 240 and simply laughing at them as i am pulling away, which i usually do in the 260 as well. 2Many, i forgive ya, i thought for sure you would of said SOMETHING by now, you always say something!! Lot's of looks and no comments, seems like alot of folk here are prejudice against a fast car . Well, i know that i have worked just as hard on my car's as anyone else here. I always give props to those who make ANY Z look nice! I'll take my self over to hybrid if that's the case. Thanks to those who have given the compliments! Zya Later,

My Babies
Thanks Alex, The rims are 15" 1992 Enki's with special machined knockoffs, the tires are 205 50x15 Goodrich Euro TA's. They look pretty good, would like to go a little wider but when you put to people in the car you get some rubbing go over any major bumps. It has lowered an inch or so, that makes a difference as well. Thanks for the compliments, it's been fun, taking the 240 to a show next weekend, so i let ya know how we do! Z ya later, Zlish
