What wheels are these?
I had those same wheels on my 260z (see photo gallery) up until yesterday. From what Im told (from original owner) mine were put on as a dealer installed item (not factory) but put on at the dealer back in like 1975 I love them but they were 14x6 so it was hard to find tires because I wanted bigger wider tires so I bought some 15' rewinds

The awsome Z cars
Ok the subject is changing from my original post that was my fault. All i meant was the Z is awsome and the new Z 0-60 is 5.4 quarter mile is 14.1 and a 911 carrera 0-60 4.9 quarter mile is 13.4. So for $40.000 less its not bad.

The awsome Z cars
Naviathan I disagree with your coment about the 911 but thats your opinion. The fact that a $30,000 car (the Z) is compared to the performance of a $76,000 car is pretty impressive. This is what motor trend says about the 911 in there test review Blistering acceleration Impeccable handling Unmistakable presence http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/intellichoice/369_0512_review_2006_porsche_911_carrera/index2.html

The awsome Z cars
I was reading an insurance company news letter this weekend and was happy to see an article about early Z cars. It gave a little history and talked about prices etc. The coolest part about the article was how they call the Z car an inexpensive alternative to the Porsche, Jag , and the Ferarri. Guys we drive one of the badest cars ever made and that statement in the article gives a lot of credibilty to the Z to be put in the company of such exotic cars. My 3 friends that all drive porsches were kind of awe struck. It s nice to know (not that I didn't already know) that the Z is still an awsome part of the auto world that is compared to such cars as Porsche , Jag , and Ferarri

My 1974 Datsun 260z . My good friend that I grew up with has had the car in the family since it was new his father owned it. When we were kids we used to cruise around in it. I had always wanted one so when they said it was for sale I grabbed it.
