Opinions on Dash Caps
I've been wondering about caps too. MSAs full caps are only like 80 bucks, and the dash carpets are 35...I'm planning to pick up a carpet, but if a cap looks like it'll work maybe it's a good deal too.

Have you seen the new MSA mag wheels?
Got my mini catalog Friday and I'll tell you, I really dig these wheels.

Help!! Year Check On Rear Bumper!
I think it looks like it's in good shape...if you're not set on year matching parts, I'd pick it up anyway. I can't remember for the life of me if there was a change between 71-73, and of course my Z books are at work (where better to read).

One for the rice boys
Oh boy. Can't wait to see how many people wreck at 80 because they're too busy watching the wheels of the person next to them.

Early SU carbs on eBay
He's got lots of 240 stuff up for sale. Seals, bushings, chrome, rocker arms. Might be something there someone needs.

L28 oil pressure question
Assuming it's a factory sender, you should be able to take the lead off and ground it. When you do, the needle will probably rise to the top...this indicates a faulty sender. If you get nothing at all when you ground it, you've got a connection failure somewhere or a toasted gauge.

UPS brown?
:stupid: Yhea, now that I look beyond just the color, you'd be right. This is why I haven't made an effort to shed my Z newbie status. :classic:

UPS brown?
That looks more like a 78 Black Pearl to me...but what do I know, I'm a n00b. :stupid:

UPS brown?
Check out =Enigma='s car...it's brown, but not quite as dark as a UPS truck. Good looking color though. Might give you an idea. EDIT: Here's a picture.

Worried....how do u protect ur z from being stolen
NICE carbine. I own an M91-30 with a 1945 production stamp. Not as easy to handle as that one, but the sight of the foot and a half long spike bayonet on the end gets people's attention...at the range or otherwise. EDIT: Folding bayonet...M1944?

240z NOS hood
MSA does occasionally have used parts to choose from, if they have an overstock of parts that are already refurbed, the will sometimes just try to sell off the used parts. The only real way to get used parts from MSA is to call them and ask for something used. They'll have to check inventory. Chances are the hood is a refurb or new piece made specifically for MSA, like the louvered hood they sell. Back to the original post - Get the order number/invoice and call MSA. Otherwise you're sitting around wondering until the box shows up on the truck.

240z NOS hood
Motorsport has a reputation to uphold, and they are pretty much as big as it gets for Z parts. If you have any questions, give them a call. You can probably get the order number from your body shop, and Motorsport will help you out. If the part is used, Motorsport isn't likely to sell it unless it's pretty much 100% great, and if it's damaged in shipping they'll help you fight it out with the freight company.
