Thanks 2manyZs. So it gives a better flow to the engine, so better response right??? I'M on my way to have the oil rings, valve seal and other internals redone in July. I'll give a try maybe!

I'm tired I think. Just left Montreal this pm and I'm in tampa right now for my job for 2 weeks. Well, I think I will stick with 195 50 15 since my ZED is lowered 1,5 inches. I don't think that any larger tires will do the job. I need 113,5mm for the offset, is that right?
  10. Ok, this last friday, I offered my GF a ride to go from Montreal to Quebec city in the Z and spend a romantic night and have fun !!! Well, she was skeptical about the ride with the old lady, but was surprised. It took us 2 hours (about 160miles, or 250km) to get there. We had a lot of thumbs up on our way, and my GF was a little bit shy, since we are riding the car, everyone (almost) sheers at the car, and I enjoy it. People keep coming at me when I'm parking the car and start to tell me story about the 1st sport car they had, and it was a Z most of the time. They don't believe how well the car is preserved. I feel proud about that and I enjoyed. I did attract the crowd in the Grande Allée, one of the main tourist spot in the old city of Quebec. People were staring at the car, since I don't think there is a Z in Quebec city, since most of them are in Montreal. Anyway, we had a good time, except for the drive back in the rain... I did not like it, since...well, it's only water like my GF told me. Here are some pictures of Quebec for you!!! http://www.telegraphe.com/photograf/quebec/index.html Enjoy!!!

Ok. My ZED is shod with 195\70\14 CRAPPY TIRES. I'm on my way to make a swap in mid July for new wheels. I want 15 inches. What size should I go? I don't want to spend a fortune and would like some suggestions on nice wheels. Merci beaucoup for your help!

Yes, another Canuck, I'm from Montreal. Mine is also orange. What is the size of your wheels??? Go see mine in the gallery under Guy_geo. Sweet ride you got!!!
  13. Just replaced my muffler last saturday with a turbo one and bought a nice 2 inches round pipe extending a little bit away from the rear bumper. No fumes from the exhaust anymore, and my GF is now happier to run with me in the ZED!!!!

  15. PLEASE, DO NOT EMAIL ME, BUT USE THIS ADDRESS INSTEAD E-mail address: berminghamsandra@hotmail.com 1972 Datsun 240Z. I have owned this car for 16 years and it is time to sell her . Had lots of fun but now I have two young children and no time for the car. 7 years ago she was totally disassembled, undercoating was removed and the chassis was sandblasted. Rust cut out and new metal welded in. All was painted with vinyl wash pimer, color primed and then colour painted. I reinstalld the IMSA GTU body package and the car was painted and then reassembled. For a powerplant she has a 1981 280zxt engine ,trans and rear end. Bigger turbo, external wastegate, custom oversize fuel rail,Spearco intercooler,Cartech rising rate fuel press regulator,240SX throttle body, compressor bypass valve, port matched intake manifold, port matched and ported ex. manifold Last winter all suspension bushings were replaced with Prothane poly bushings. Rear susp. pivot pins replaced with oem parts. All susp parts were glass beaded, primed and painted with epoxy and acrylic urethane. New rear wheel bearings and seals, new oem outer tie rod ends. Interior has a full carpet kit including shock towers. In the last 16 years I have spent way too much money on this car, over 25000$ cdn. (receipts to prove this). Now it's time to sell her, asking 9000$cdn..... A reasonable price I feel. E-mail for photos. I am located in Halifax Nova Scotia
