  5. I'm thinking of putting a Fuel injection engine in my 240Z.. to be a little bit more green for the environment.( no more air pump on mine). Any idea how hard and time consuming it will be ? I guess I may want to change the trnasmission at the same time???

    Hey, that's ok, we still mix km and mile up there!!!! I red in a Portofolio on Datsun that the range should be in the vicinity of your numbers, around 300-3335 miles. Cheers!

    I'm questionning the precision of my fuel gauge.. Full ( it means I can see the gas in the filler neck), it reads about a little bit over 3/4 of a tank. I drove the car close to 280miles and the gauge was still up about 1/4.. Any idea what could be the range of our cars?? I know it depends on the driving style, but let say cruising at 65 on HGWay, 4 speed, mild cam, and headers... Merci!:squareeye

  15. I found the culprit.. someone befor eme add a smal spring acting the opposite way of the 2 return spring on the throttle linkage.. Anyway, no more problem.

  20. OK. Medium cam. Headers. Regular SUs. PCv valve brand new. No more air pump. Électronic igintion, but no electronic distributor Brand new set of points Timing at 9 Under heavy acceleration at highway speed. I can hear the engine pinging slightly.. I run 91 or 94 octane gas.. What is my problem???:stupid:

    WEll, I've put some grease, and dawn it... it is not doing any good... Hope I wont have to remove the sway bar and start over again.. When I press on either of the front corner I can hear that funny squeaky noise, like squick squick.. Annoying.. tonight, I went for a small ride, people were looking at me... and wondering what was that noise.. Any quick fix.. ?

  23. OK, I'll try yo lube the throttle shafts tonight and clean the gas pedal grommets as well.. And I will see from tehre, and use rdefabri trick...!
  24. Regular SU (4 bolts) square. If I do tap the gas pedal, the idle return to the normal.. Just tired of people looking at me like I wanna race each time I come to a stop or traffic light...
