S13 coil overs
I think you would need to change the LCA to get a S13 strut into a C110, maybe a S130 LCA would fit into a C110 and have the different end to connect up to the S13 strut. Not sure to be honest but if it was really that easy I think the rally boys would have done it before and since they haven't. . . . . . . .

kenmeri v8 and 9inch swap
This car is fkn awesome. At a guess I'd say you have the quickest C110 in the world  Can you post some photos of the engine and the car please. What chassis strengthening/roll cage have you added?

C110 copy GTR grill, front lip and rear wing i just picked up
we could do a group buy and order directly from Restored.jp instead of going through Ben at Otomoto. In saying that I went through this process when I ordered the carbon bumpers, trim and spoiler and otomoto ended up being cheaper than getting it directly from Restored when you factored in customs and shipping. I'm going to be ordering a set of carbon skin on fg guards and carbon flares in the very near future from Restored/Otomoto and I would be more than happy to look into a group freight cost for us if we have enough orders. In saying that we could all bundle our orders together to get a good price and go through Otomoto also.

Fiberglass bonnets being made
In hindsight every time frame I have ever quoted regarding any work or parts to be purchased has ended up being doubled or tripled so 6 months might not happen, maybe more like a year.

rear dogleg drain ideas
I used a degreaser gun and sprayed through as many angles as possible and have ended with great coverage, i had to repeatedly wipe the excess paint off the bottom of the area though as I oversprayed and got it to mist up and cover everything. Big waste of paint but did the job. Although a better option now exists . . . Do you still want to borrow the doughnut sprayer with the long flexible hose to spray inside the sills and other hard to reach areas off me? I used tectyl from Valvoline which leaves a waxy finish the can't be chipped through. I can't remember if you were just going to buy your own or not, this would be perfect for the job.

my dream 240k....
Can you turn it into a 4 seat and keep the cage? I've gotten approval from the engineer to go full 6 or more point roll cage and still be road registered. We aren't calling it a roll cage though just roof support and I'm thinking of not having the bars come down the B Pillar just go the whole way from a to c.

Fiberglass bonnets being made
What's the go boys, is this happening??? I've decided to go the carbon route for most of my car and if we can't sort this out in Oz I'm just going to get doors, bonnet, guards and boot from Restored. I'd much prefer to get them made in australia but I have already purchased bumpers, trim and font spoiler from restored and I'm worried about the carbon not matching up. I'm happy for the trim bumpers to be a different look carbon but if I purchase one of the panels they will all have to look the same, thus I will be out of any future group buys. So I suppose what I'm saying is that within 6 months I will be purchasing guards and bonnet and if we can't sort out something in Aust I'll have to go to Restored. For the record Alfa don't do the polished carbon look so they are not an option for me. I'm happy to buy two sets of guards and bonnets and put a set on ebay if it helps things out. If we can sort it out in Australia within my required time frame I'll won't bother getting the boot and doors, just the bonnet and guards. I have no good panels to use so that must be left up to other people. Let me know what the go is. Cheers guys

my dream 240k....
She be nice one that one mate,, plenty nice Sorry to tell you ovens but I ended up using my "wood" handbrake on the vert as the R34 one fouled on my gearstick when in reverse. I will change it when I put in a custom dash but that might not be for 2-3 years time but I just couldn't be bothered cutting holes in the transmission tunnel at this point in time.

Any Ideas?
S14 and S13 are the same length (i think) the S15 ones are the longer ones. I've been told adding a cross over pipe between the exhausts will quieten it down a bit, the problem I have is that my whole exhaust is one piece which needs the steering column removed before it will come out so I can't add any washers or restrictors without a lot of work. I could buy one of the mufflers that have the valve but they are big $$ and are all shiny, I'm after the black exhaust look, not some polished beetroot can on the end of a 1 inch pipe. I'll give it a go the way it is and restrict how much it can be floored for the test and go from there. Worse case I have to add another muffler, oh well.

Any Ideas?
Thanks for the prompt response guys, it all makes sense now, I did tighten the lca's in the air so that must be the problem. Thanks Disco Bob It's nearly on the road . . . honestly I know I've said that heaps but for sure this time. I was at the engineers today and all he has asked me to fix before approval is a bonnet scoop, rear tyres sticking outside of the arches :classic: sleeve or roller for handbrake cable so it doesn't foul on tail shaft and finalise track and rim measurements so he can write a report. It was all to easy for what is likely one of the most modified Skylines in the world to get approved for rego. I will most likely fail the sound test though :disappoin Rego will be before Christmas if not I'm really lazy and should be abused accordingly.

Any Ideas?
I recently fitted S14 lower control arms to the vert to get more front end track and when I lowered the car down the passenger side sat lower than the drivers side. The same struts and springs were used and it sat fine before I changed the lca's. Any ideas what may be the cause of it sitting unlevel? the lca's were undamaged factory items. I pushed the ball joints in my self so I know they were in right Could camber change the height level this much?. See how it sits lower in the pic, just under 1 inch lower than the other side. Some more photos you can see in this pic that the lower side has a lot of camber, I haven't bought adjustable strut tops yet to fix it up, they're on the list.

C110 FG and CF body parts
I've ordered some carbon parts from Ben at Otomoto, he ended up being cheaper than Restored.jp as his price included freight and customs. I'll list the costs at this point in time, pick up Sydney. Carbon Bumpers $900 Carbon front spoiler $300 Carbon bonnet/boot trim pieces $600 Carbon Bonnet $1140 FRP Guards $1140 I've bought the top 3 and Ben also threw in a $50 discount. I'll be definitely buying a carbon bonnet and carbon guards in the future but I'd really like to see us get a manufacturer set up in Australia that we all can purchase from. Who has a perfect set of guards and bonnet they're willing to go without for a while??

August 240Kproject update - warning lots of pics
Sorry to thread highjack, does anyone own a 73 coupe? I recently had Shannons quote me for insurance and their records show that the 1973 coupe doesn't exist, they start at 1974. The guy quoting said he'd have to put it on his books as a 74 not 73.

Nice score Kent, lucky bugger Should make your project a little easier. Did you ever find those window bits I was chasing? I still haven't sorted that out yet.

Work in progress...
Sweet as! It looks like a nice ride. Did you know that the mopar smallblock can bolt straight into a 240Z with the american truck engine mounts? I read a thread about guys in the us doing it on hybridz. Does the K have the same mounts as the Z? I assumed that there might be different as the z has rack & pinion steering.

C110 FG and CF body parts
Kent, I'll email them regarding the 240Z price list and let you know. Go as many FRP parts as you can, it will only help with braking and acceleration Ovens, I really want the carbon look so metal guards are not really worth anything to me. I haven't forgotten about the handbrake for you too, just haven't even looked at setting mine up yet. Bear with me I get there eventually. Can we use your guards to take molds from? Should i not be rushing into buying from Japan and put a little more faith in us actually sorting out the fabrication in Australia? Guys, I'm happy to put my money where my mouth is to help the club get all our cars to a better stage with FRP parts but I really need to get mine sorted out asap before its gets rego, I just don't have the time to wait for this to be sorted out, I don't have the knowledge to do this myself and I don't have any parts good enough to be used for molds.
