What a muppet I am asking other people to price something I have already priced and posted about before :stupid: http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31185 Anyway my muppetness is inconsequential. What I do want to mention is that I'm very very close to ordering some carbon guards and possibly bonnet with or without any other orders to go along with it. If you are seriously keen to get some parts let me know asap. I'm not to keen to get molds taken from the ones I will buy as they most likely will be full carbon and I don't want them to get damaged in the process. If I buy fiberglass ones (which will happen if they don't do GT-R style) the molds can be taken. I've contacted Restored in Japan to get a price list and to see if we can purchase straight from them cutting out the middle man. I'll keep you updated on what happens. I suspect I'll buy them within a month or so, my guards are so fkd and far out of alignment that I can hardly bear to register it with them on from embarrassment.

I bought some from Rare spares but it had no end pieces on it, it was just a universal length of seal with a slightly different profile. I was going to get some rubber restorer and try and bring the end pieces back to life and reuse them. SKYC110 Can you put up a link to the place that sells them for $200US I'd probably just buy some of those if they we're 100% correct. Also Sky could you start a thread showing of all the places in the middle east that sell C110 parts?

What did he pick you up on? Have you insured it? and if so what did that cost and what does it cover you for? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just about to go to the engineers so wouldn't mind any heads up you can give me

Your neighbors sound like really nasty people, it must be hard to put up with them. Sounds like you should get a industrial unit to work on the cars in. I'd keep the both K's if you could, you never know when you need parts. A mate of mine just had his granny spec recently resprayed HR wagon hit by a chick. It now needs a new front end, poor chap only had it back for 3 months after 2 years off the road. I've got the extra car bug like you Kent and ended up buying a VG pacer 265 sedan off a mate for $1500, couldn't pass it up. After the time blowout on the vert I'm planning to just sit on this one until the vert has been totally finished or 5 years pass, whichever comes first. Also good news, I ended up selling my 33 for $400 more than I bought it for and only put oil and plugs into it. Who would've thought you could get paid to drive a 33 for 8 months

I might have a wooden handbrake handle for you, I'm about to get my handbrake hooked up and might be modifying a newer one instead of using the original. If I don't use the original you can have it for free. Discobob, are you a member of QPDC? I was supposed to get my vert registered last monday and go down to autobarn for the monthly meet and test out the line locker. . . . . . . . I have a fuel delivery problem at the moment so couldn't make it

How much for carbon skin over fb guards? I'm keen to get a set in a couple of weeks time. Also what is the carbon racing jacket? is this a gtr style headlight panel?

There were 4 gtr's at the trackday and with a little persuasion I ended up going in 3 of them I asked every owner for a ride, just couldn't help myself. The most we could hit down the straight in the 6 series was 111mph when the gtr's could hit 150mph.

I recently went on a Europe trip and managed to go racing at Silverstone, Spa and the Nurburgring. Here is a short video of the GT-R at Silverstone I posted a lot of pictures on another thread for those who are interested. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38869 The convertible sits neglected in the garage with this trip draining all of the funds allocated to rego & engineering, it was worth it though. Doing an 8:59 round the ring is one of the most exciting things I've done in my life so far:cool:

Your turbo would prob beat me at the moment but with the us$ falling so fast it won't be long before I buy a crate motor 300zx irs doesn't really fit in, I paid big $'s for SWR to do the work so I don't really know how hard it is, I know how long you have to save though. It would be better to use a R33/34 irs as it has a shorter track measurement, I chose the 300zx irs as it has the R230 diff not the R200. The vert has . . . i mean is being built to get thrashed around so I wanted a big diff to cop the abuse.

R32 crossmember will not be a direct bolt in affair, two of the bolt holes may line up but all four won't. I think you can use another nissans lower control arms but not sure which. You could buy a 33 front cut and get the crossmember welded into place then you wouldn't have to get engine mounts made up as well.

You can get clutch masters on ebay for around 30 I think, I have a free radiator for you Noodle but it's in queensland

I'd buy a Skyline beaver panel badge depending on quality, could you make a beaver badge with custom wording on it?
