  1. They're currently not mounted. I'm going to try tapping in the dust caps this week, I'll let everyone know if it works. The fitment on the front cap is close but just not quite close enough.... I can get you the info on the NASA deal if you wanted to call Konig and inquire. I have the sales manager's name somewhere and his phone number. Member ship in NASA is forty bucks, so you have to add that into the cost of the deal.....
  2. The pics are great, thanks for sharing. Nice car. Gimme a holler if you get up towards Asheville sometime.
  3. I have a set of the 15" Konig Rewinds on my car, and the caps do not fit over the front hubs. It's close, but no cigar....I have heard that some percussive persuasion (tapping in the dust caps with a hammer) does the trick. My dust caps are all mashed up anyway, so I will likely try this in the next few days. I'll let you know if the caps do indeed fit afterwards.
  4. For a while Konig was running a special if you were a member of NASA. You could get 15" rims, any color, for $55 each, and you could get 17" rims, any color, for $75 each. That's where I got my set....not sure if that deal is still running or not, though.
  5. Did I read that right, that he also happened to crash into some other Z cars while he was somehow hitting the wrong part of the tunnel? If so, ouch. I like the car, too.
  6. Yes, this is normal. Once you have the weight of the car on the spring, everything will look much better. Take it for a spin, let the suspension settle in, and that will give an idea of what your new ride height is going to be. One nice thing about the lowering springs is that you won't need to use a spring compressor any more......
  7. Check that. It's the same owner, but I had my facts mixed up. The kid that owns it (he hasn't started college yet) is from Mooresville.
  8. I've never seen it around Asheville, either. It seems like I remember talking to the owner once over at HybridZ....if it was the same guy, he actually lives in Shelby.

On the wheel issue, I personally tend to prefer the Konig Rewinds (I have a set of 15" graphites on my '71) or even a set of the ZXT swastikas. Nice car, Arne. Enjoy it!

You'd have your work cut out for you, but that could eventually be a very nice car.
