Just got back from a 2300 mile trip with my daughter in the Z. The first night I stopped in Savannah so I took her on the track to show her what mom does for thrills. She also saw the Westin and Savannah. The Porsche crew was there trying to act like us. Pffttt....

Hey ezzzzzzz I was sure to find you taking a Hooter girl for a ride in your Z. Your hood painting is awesome!! So you didn't luck out this time...there is always next time. Glad I was at least able to get a shot of you meditating in the hotel bar after visiting Wet Willies. GOOD TIMES!!!

It's quite simple, our club has some extra $ and we would like to do something special for all paid members. We have approx. 80 paid members who have a wide variety of Z interests...track, show, gearheads, social,....etc.. Just want to thank them for making our club one of the best in the country.:classic:

Hi everyone, I wanted to take a survey of the following question.... If your club had let's say $800 to spend on all the members what would be a great idea to cover such a diverse group?? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am stumped!! Thanks!!!

Got a rental car (350z) in Vegas to take me to the speedway and did a ride along in a Mario Andretti Formula one at 180mph. The students were at the bottom of the speedway doing 80-90 mph. I loved being at the top and cruising past them....but damn, fastest money I have ever spent.
  10. Besides Under armour gear and framed photos.... a copy of January 2011, Auto Trader Classics "An iconic sports car turns 40!" signed by Mr.K.:classic:

Thanks for the compliments on the photos. :classic: We actually lucked out with the leaves still being on the trees and the awesome colors last weekend. Here we are actually past peak but because we haven't had alot of rain the last few weeks they were there for us to see. Now today with all this rain it is a different story...........the season of beautiful leaves is now the season of raking.

  16. Hi Everyone, Saturday, the ZCCNV crew hosted their 17th Annual Gathering of Z- Faithful show in Reston, Virginia. This is our 3rd year having it in this location (formally held at the Dulles Plane and Pull event) and held in conjunction with the Reston Heights Festival on the Square. The festival included many family activities, live music and food. Our proceeds gladly go to the Specials Olympics. If you haven't been to our show we offer a peoples choice and ZCCA Judging. Hoping to see some of you out there next year. By the way, we had quite a few members from ClassicZcars there!! Thanks guys and gal for coming out! Check out the link for photos from the show..... http://zladyeducator64.smugmug.com/Other/ZCCNV-17th-Annual-Gathering-of/14233022_wcYhd

In case your interested the Hot Wheels Blue keychain 370z is now out. Number 37/44 in 1/64th scale.
  20. Dan AZ2NV is the man putting on the fall 2012 show in Phoenix. He point blank asked me how far i would drive my car. I looked at him and sorry a trip out his way would require my first trailering experience. It would be worth it and it is so close to the left coast the car examples should be as amazing as this past convention. I am sure his crew could put on a fantastic show!!!:classic:
  21. Hey guys, ZCON was a blast!! The convention crew put on an amazing show and the best I have ever attended! The final tally was 722 participants...that's HUGE! Congrats on a job well done!!! A "special" thanks to all my z friends who kept me up late in the wee hours of the morning and reminding me life is short....or shortened if I was with you all year long and not just one week. I look forward to next year!! I caught up with old z friends and met many new ones. It was great seeing AZ2NV, Nissanmaster (thanks for the ride on the back roads near the track), Mike B, 26th-Z, bpilati, zpizzaman20, Jim Frederick, Gnosez (I really want a ride in your car at the track....pleaseeeee!). It was fun chattin' it up with Nazgul280, RAZ1, Rick Morgan and Les Cannady. A "HUGE" thank you goes to "Charlie" who quietly snuck up on me in the parking lot early on in the convention as I checked on my car at 11:30pm. I have to be careful when a "fellow" Zer says "Hey zlady, wanna go for a ride?" but when those keys were dangling from your hand how could I say "No". My next question before I put the car in gear was whether it was street legal or not? Ahhhh.....street legal...now we're talking. So out of the lot we go in the Tom Cruise/Paul Newman Z31 race car. Charlie thank you for letting me drive as fast as I wanted to and as many laps as I needed around on the streets. I wonder how many women have driven it. Good thing the police weren't around. Loved the power after the "lag"!!! My gallery is officially up and ready for you to see. Many classic Z members are in the photos. http://zladyeducator64.smugmug.com/Other/ZCCA-Nashville-2010/13205672_2A2pG#958646536_DEkrG Enjoy and I hope to see you all again next year!! PS. More rides on the track would be appreciated!!!
