S12W and Wheel Spacer?
I have S12W with ventilated rotors and I am running 14 x 7" rims with no clearance problems and no spacers. The offset on the rims is 3mm positive. When I used the std alloy 260 rims I had to run a 5mm spacer to clear the caliper. g260

Sydney Z Club Concours
Anyone in Sydney on Sunday the 28 September, 2003 (3 weekends away) come to Fox Studios at Moore Park where the Sydney Z club will be holding their annual concours. Last year was an excellent day with over 30 cars and this year promises to be as good if not better!! As well as Z's, this year will also include the Sydney Datsun Club with an expected good roll up of Datsun 1600's and other models. There will be judging in a range of classes for standard and modified cars as well as car of the show. g260

Tell Me Yours I Want To Know
Steve, I wish the interior was that good. Whilst it is not bad it has some imperfections. Things generally look better in pics, than in real life. Like most Z owners, there is always something to do, however, I have been increasingly bitten by the track bug and at the moment handling and performance will take precedence over cosmetic mods. geoff

Tell Me Yours I Want To Know
Steve, The number could be for the holding yard or similar as it is typed in the top left hand corner of the inside page of the small warranty and service booklet, below which is listed the original owner, delivery date and other Id including the key numbers. Yes, it does have the white interior. Geoff

Tell Me Yours I Want To Know
Steve, Here are my cars details; RS30 000482 Engine L26 055565 (original now replaced with L28) Prod Date 4/74 Colour Red (110) It is a Queensland car originally and was purchased new from Laylor Motors of Woollangabba on 29.3.74. The distributor was Ira Berk of Eagle Farm. From the Warranty and Service book it appears as though the original rego was OHM-242 Qld. Inside the warranty book on the first page is Z167 in the top corner (whatever this means!) As a matter of interest I ran in my first Regularity event at the Historic meeting at Eastern Creek yesterday (what a hoot!!) and whilst there I put the car on the weighbridge. With about half a tank of fuel and no spare wheel it went 1074kgs. Hope this is of assistance, Geoff

Falken Tyres
Biker, I assume you are referring to the Falken Azenis, which is the road legal race tyre. I have used them on the 260 a couple of times and previously had them on my Pulsar SSS. http://www.falkentire.com/ For the price I believe they are quite good when compared to Dunlops and Yoko's. Mine are only 195 60x14 as that was the size for the Pulsar and whilst they still have a bit of use left in them I have been looking for some new tyres to buy later. Through this site I have picked up on the Kumho Victoracer V700 and the Ecsta V70A. http://203.147.156.118/products.asp?id=73 http://203.147.156.118/products.asp?id=74 From comments I have read they seem to be highly regarded in the States. I contacted Kumho in Sydney and they say they are just starting to import them and referred me to an agent. The other tyre I checked out was the Toyo RA1 which also seem to be quite good and which are readily available down here. http://www.toyo.com/tires/tire_lines/high_perf/ra1.html My ultimate decision will naturally depend upon, price, size availability and wear/grip. I want them as a spare set to run in sprints and regularity. This has probably become more confusing than helpful!! Cheers, Geoff
