Mr. K is only the reason you get to drive one of these great cars. He is the Godfather of the Z car.

Headed to Denver
I will try and bring the family. The wife should come out but the daughter may be with the grandparents. I will not know any faces, being from out of town and all. If all of you could wear a pink shirt that would be helpful. Just kidding. Maybe I should wear a pink shirt .

Headed to Denver
Wife, daughter and me are going to see my parents. They stay in Denver off of East Alameda Ave. I am from Colorado so there is not much I have not seen but the wife has never been there. I plan on quite a bit fun things. Zoo, 6 Flags. A trip on I-70 to Vail, Aspen, Glennwood Springs (POOL) and what ever I can think of.

Headed to Denver
Darrel, Going to be in Denver from the 25th to the 30th of Aug. Would love to meet a couple of the club members and BS a bit over a Pepsi or other cold beverage. I will not be with Z car but would love to see others. Going to catch the Rockies on the 25th or 26th and then the Broncos on the 30th. Anytime in between would be great.

Haynes distributor firing order
Tomohawk, head over to office max and get a Brothers TZ labeling machine with some 1/4" labeling tape. Make your own as you go. The TZ tape will stick to just about anything and is not easy to remove. I use this stuff on the helicopters at work.

Starting Problems -
Do you have the internal or external regulator? I have to go with Steve on this one. Check the Alt then look at the voltage regulator. Replace as needed.

Nissan says: what's a 280z?
I feel bad for you guys where nissan dealers don't know squat. I bought my 76 280Z and my 300ZXTT from my local Nissan parts manager. He is a great guy. Will look up anything you ask for and even try looking all over the US for it. If I order a part he won't make me pay for it until it comes in and if I don't need it I don't get a restocking fee, Plus I get parts at cost. Can't beat the deals I can get.

Spindle pin, ahhhh!

Interesting White LED
Have the dash out and I am about ready to replace and repair all the gauges. Just wondering if removing the green plastic piece was a good result for the BA9s-x-WV Wide Angle bulb. Has anyone tried different colors? I was thinking blue with white faces give it that indiglo look.

'76 280 Still not starting???
Chris, You Are talking about the ECU on the kick panel under the steering wheel right? If so Sorry can't help you, Got rid of my extra a few weeks ago. Someone may have one from a parts car or they are on ebay every now and again for pretty cheap.

Anybody going to Pikes Peak this weekend?
Wish I was there in Colorado with ya. I love that race, its one of the best. A steep hill, Long drop offs, Crazy curves and a bunch of gravel to spin the tires in. If your from out of town go see the Graden of the Gods and don't drive up pikes peek in your Z it takes 10 years off its life but what a sight it is from the top of that peek.

Brake Terminology
I wouldn't call them "self adjusting" but "operator assisted adjustment". You have to help them every now and then or you will just eat up your front brakes like a fat guy at Western Sizzler.

Highly recommend it
I would use a General Purpose grease for the project. As long as it is lubbed it will move much better.
