I love this post by Bill. http://www.classiczcars.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=2009&cat=5 I was just wondering though is this add for the whole Women or just for her Parts.
  3. Will get on that car and off the net. You have way to much stuff to do before Daytona. But on the real side of life. I have a 76 and a 90TT. I still prefer the 76 over the 90. The 76 is not as fast nor does it drive as good but it has something the 90 doesn't and thats classic value.
  4. 1st question is your fuel tank clean of all rust and crap? If it is then it could be your fuel pump, it may be something else though. Check your fuel presure first off. If thats low then I myself would pull the fuel pump out and clean the intake portion of it. There is a little filter on the intake/inside of your fuel pump. (just remember these original pumps can be ceased very easy from rust) My filter was removed when I replaced my fuel pump. Autozone will have a replacement in stock. Its a universal type, if you want to keep the Bosch style pump then you will most likely have to order it. Once you have cleaned your pump up from crap then blow out your fuel lines with compressed air and replace your fuel filter if its dirty. I would also invest in an inline filter that sits between the gas tank and the fuel pump. For this you will need at least a 1 foot of 1/2 inch hose, 2 hose clamps and a 1/2 inch inline filter from NAPA auto parts. This is usally in stock at NAPA and I could not find one from other auto parts stores. Just ask for 1/2 inch inlet and outlet. its a napa gold part. I have lost the part number I was using.
  5. I drove my 75 280Z from San Francisco, CA to San Angelo, TX stopping only to gas up, eat and use the bathroom. Non stop 1597 miles. Did it in 20 hours and in the middle of winter and no heater. I had to use a towel layed accross my lap and the shift lever that was left open to get the heat from the engine. Enjoyed every second of it.
  6. You guys are all nuts. RFOL I have my Z for racing, cruising, and having those young A$$ kids in there Hondas and such going "WOW nice car what is it". You can make a 10 second Z that does out perform many other American mussel. I cold also care less about the thousands of foreign cars that are brought, shipped or half built here each year. I worry about other things like why is the 90TT missing or where to get my suspension set up for the 76 280from. I worry more about our young Soldiers in IRAQ being killed every day over what? OIL, Gold, Revenge, just because we elected a stupid monkey for our president. If you get caught street racing you should be punished just for getting caught. Sorry you have to lose your car but go race at a track or in another county so they don't crush your car.
  7. Start with the fuse box and make sure your fuses are good. I would replace all of them considering she sat for 4 yrs. I would also replace the hoses under the hood like the vacuum, fuel, and any others you see. Glad you fixed the Alt problem and hope you enjoy her.

  11. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19514 is a little write up I did on my Red-Kote tank liner. I am now into my second tank due to the fact that Red-Kote failed, I still ended up with rust in my inline filter between the tank and the electric fuel pump causing many problems. Spend the $60 and order the POR 15 http://www.por15.com/s.nl/it.A/id.1515/.f You will be happier off.
  12. POR 15 is the only way to go. I have tried 2 different types of coatings and POR 15 is the best. Call the places above and I bet you find out that they use POR 15 for the inside of there tank restores.
  13. It looks nice and is a very beautiful car. If the sales manager said it was restored then great, but you have to look at who did the restore and what kind of a job was done to it. Is it worth 20k? For someone it is but what if it was to start bubbling on a kick panel in about 2 or 3 years. I would be very very upset.

This pics needs the S30 sitting higher on the rear and the 350 kind of running a way. I do love these pics and may use one as wall paper. Thanks
  15. This is not a real fair choice for her. She has to many things I like about her.

Rick, As you say, Will is a person who won't blow his own horn or think about his needs first he likes to help others before he does his thing. He is a great help on my Z car, and a very respectable person, he even helps run the local Z club here in Savannah, GA. He does need a big thank you. THANKS Will
  17. Don't forget that the chevy 350 thermo is the same size as the Z thermo. If you are still running to hot after the 160 thermo, you might look at the radiator being clogged and not providing the right water circulation.

I agree with you enigma on that statement but I get more AHH talk about the 280Z than my 300ZXTT but when it comes to fast the 300ZXTT has it totally rapped up. We will see after the turbo swap
  19. Can't get the top tool bar to link in help or part of the contact us???
  20. I like like like. I want want want. Don't tell the wife.

I think Yes, I can beat some V-8s that are out there. If you want faster put a v-8 in your car. If you want a nice riding car with the arse to race others then buy a 300ZXTT. I have both and love the 76 for the AHHH factor but I also love the 300TT for the WOW want a beauty and she is fast. I guess I am lucky the wife likes to race.
  22. Thanks Mike I will see if the local Nissan can get that for me.
  23. Ok here is the part # 25230-N4300 It is located in the fisch on page 55-H-3 item number 36. Nothing from the local parts stores they don't carry that part.
  24. Are you talking about making the harness that goes to the ECU or a harness that is for the chassis? I would be interested in getting parts together for the ECU harness.
  25. I have not checked around at the auto parts stores I thought maybe someone had one in a parts car. I pulled mine apart today and found the problem was a bad wire coming from the coil inside and there was no way to fix it. O well.
