Color electrical diagram on ebay
I have the color schematic found on here for the 77. The one thats put into a PDF file. I had it blown up on a map making machine at work and got 3 copies all in color. Its about 4 ft x 2 ft. Gave one to Will for all his help with the 76. I have used it quite a few times. I love how its easy to read.

looking for differential
I have no idea where this place is located. I would advise you to jump on any 280ZX's that you might see, due to the 3:90 rear end. P.S. Don't jump so high that you miss the car though.

David for Boogieman we need to apply most all term. NLA= No Longer Available. Boogie be careful of the reverse flow containment meter it sometimes backs up and will cause major problems with your flux injector located under the dash. Happy Z-ing

My third 240Z
Sorry to say it Arne but that find is terrible :surprised , with it having that sunroof along with that wired set of wheels you should sell it to me or just shoot yourself for buying it. I can't believe you bought a car that has an interior like that. The carpet is so dirty it looks BLACK and that sunroof has got to be automatic, or its going to hurt your fingers when you open it. Do the door have auto windows or auto door locks at least? Arne I thought you were smarter than a 240Z, after all 240's are only 36 years old. :nervous: What the heck are you going to do with this car? All I can think of, is drive it around and show it off. Na, really though Arne congratulations for finding suck a piece of beautiful work. I hope she will deliver the heart pounding that I feel when I drive my 280Z.

1st post; cupla questions
I have 76 280Znon-turbo and run about 135MPH stock. You probly have the R200 3:90 unless PO changed it. The 3:90 came in the cars that had no turbo. I'm guessing to make up for the smog and weight. As for the light staying on, I have no clue. P.S. I too am an F-body fan. 89 I-ROC/original/cherry/350 and90 RS/original/305

You guys are so wrong for not being straight with the new guy. You should all crawl under you Z's and pry for the Z GOD's not to punish you. Boogieman seriously, Here is a list of Oil/Lubricants you need to worry about, Yes they are in order of importance. 1. Motor Oil 10Wx30/10Wx40 2. Transmission Oil (ATF for auto Transmission or 80x90W for manual Transmission) 3. Brake Fluid 4. Anti-Freeze 5. Differential Oil (80x90W Same as Manual Transmission) 6. Wiper fluid (5wx10) 7. Blinker Lub (5wx10) 8. Window Grease (to keep the glare off) 9. Heater Motor Lub (5wx10) 10. Gauge Liquid (can get at any parts store)

Shifter rattle
Darrel, I did use a vise to press the bushings in and took just enough off to get it fit between the ears. I still had a little play. I may have gotten the wrong door pin kit who knows. Thats why I say do it right with right peices.

Shifter rattle
I would guess that you need new bushings for your shifter. It is a very easy job and you can buy these plastic bushings for almost nothing. Don't do the door pin mod that people claim works so good. It doesn't work all that great. Just get the parts from Nissan if they are still available and look at blues site for instruction. {url}http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/shifterbushing/index.html{/url}

Bcdd
You can plug that BCDD and not have a problem. It doesn't do much. As Cozy said check those links but you may also want to clean the throtle linkage. Make sure its not sticking also you can adjust the screw under the throtle body and make sure your TB is closing all the way.

Making Mp3 **** for car stereo
TomoHawk, You have got to forgive him he has been smelling exhaust fumes from a Datsun for over 30 years. I don't think he knows you can put a list together so the songs play as you want them to play and not alphabetical or numerical order.

Making Mp3 **** for car stereo
TomoHawk, My Clarion says to do this. Now I know that every stereo is different but this should help guide people in the right direction. Play list mode This function allows you to play tracks, up to latest 5 time stamps, by reading the play list information written on the disc. 1. Press and hold the [PLAY LIST] button for 1 second or longer to turn on or off the play list mode. ∗Play list play is possible only when there is a file whose extension is “.M3U†or “.ASX†on the CDR-RW. ∗Up to 5 play lists can be recognized, and up to 255 files can be recognized per play list. Making a play list 1. Write desired tracks to a CD-R/RW, etc. Be sure to use alphanumeric/ASCII characters for all file names. 2. Make a play list by using a multimedia player, Windows Media, Winamp, etc. and save the data. The file format must be M3U or ASX. 3. Again, write this play list to the CD-R/RW, etc. Notes: • When writing to a CD-R/RW, etc., be sure to use alphanumeric/ASCII characters. • Up to 5 layers can be recognized as a list. For written play lists, latest 5 lists are recognized in the order in which they are written. • When writing to a CD-R/RW, etc., turn off the Disc At Once function.• When adding a play list, it is recommended to write it in the “Root†folder.

Making Mp3 **** for car stereo
It would take probly 1 Dual Layer DVD. Now on a regular 700MB CD you figure 200 songs per CD thats about 5 CD's. While running or on the bike it would be hard to carry though I wonder if you can listen to the Ipod while doing the DEW I have just bought a new portable DVD player for the cars to help keep the kid quiet while driving around :nervous: This is one of the best investments. It plays DVD, Kodac, MP3, DIVX, XVID has USB port and other items for it. What is great about the DVD player is it will plug into the stereo via RCA cables and play what I want it to out of the speaker syatem. Try doing that while doing the DEW The hardest part of my traveling is trying to figure out what songs I want to put on a DVD or CD.

Changing intake/exhaust gasket on '83 motor
Not double jointed been working on these cars for sometime and have taken many of them off. I guess I just know exactly where they are under the manifold. I do have medium sized hands so this helps. Have busted studs and used an easyout with head still on the car.
