The ATF portion of a radiator is not included with the core of the radiator, most of the time it is a tube usually brass that runs a small amount of tranny fluid thru one of the radiators tanks. This does not hurt the cooling in my opinion at all.
  3. Welcome Scott, I am up in charleston offten to hit up the VA hospital for some great care. If your ever in Savannah hit one of us up and we can do a drive or some lunch.
  4. So your little bother plays for the Leafs. Just kidding. Maybe one day he will come down south and be a panther or lighting.

You could have those headers blasted and paint or coat them and probly get your money out of just those. Not to bad of a trade.

I did mine about a year ago with the style on the right. mine were off of a BMW also. When you go to replace the connectors, the wires are numbered from the ECU to each component. 51, 52, 53, Ect Ect. Just for giggles I would keep the wiring inorder for the future you never know.

you can replace those items without the rotisserie but it will be harder that way. I know if you talk to geezer he has built one. He has mesurments and info on building it. A little square tubing, 2 engine stands, and some welding and you have one.

Bill and Will are off to visit Will's grandma. While Will is talking to his grandma, Bill starts eating the peanuts on the coffee table, and finished them off. As they're leaving, Bill says, "Thanks for the peanuts." Will's grandma says, "Yeah, since I lost my dentures I can only suck the chocolate off them."

65-year-old Rick went for his annual physical. He told the doctor that he felt fine, but often had to go to the bathroom during the night. Then he said, "But you know Doc, I'm blessed. God knows my eyesight is going, so he puts on the light when I pee, and turns it off when I'm done!" A little later in the day, Dr. Smith called Rick's wife and said, "Your husband's test results were fine, but he said something strange that has been bugging me. He claims that God turns the light on and off for him when uses the bathroom at night." Thelma exclaimed, "That old fool! He's been peeing in the refrigerator again!"
  13. Just because one part was taken off and replaced with another part there is no garantee that the replacement part was in good condition. Even when new.... I seen this before on cars but its usally a different problem on each one. I don't think the engine is what is bad. Even though it was from Datsun parts LLC. Could be cracked distro cap, bad plug wires being grounded on the head, bad replacement fuel pump, bad carb floats. For this type of problem its hard to tell you what it is when you can't see, hear, feel the car running.
  14. Sounds like a fun day. Looking forward to meeting others from the site.
  15. I have heard of this swap and have thought about it for the simple fact that you can get better gearing for the 240sx tranny.

Like Will said it must have support and if you want OEM go with the 3 or 4 row. I chose the JTR due to the fact it was more cost effective and I had the mounting brackets made at my job. I was able to fab everything from the garage and a few extra parts from the local pick and pull. If you want to go with the JTR radiator just PM me and I can send you all the diagrams and info to get it mounted.

I have the JTR radiator and love it. It was more cost effective for me to install it then buy a stock one. My car never runs hot or even close to hot in GA heat.

Interesting. It seems to be put together from different pieces of advertising and old interviews. looks pretty cool.
  23. I know when I have ordered these studs they are all the same for every head. There should be 11 studs total. All are the same thread size but some are longer than others, depending on what is attached. The threaded side of the studs that go into the head are all the same lenth. There is also heavy duty washers that go on the studs before the nut does, this is because it holds both intake and exhaust on one stud. I have uploaded a pick of my N42 head and colored the items for you. Blue- Intake studs Purple- Intake Bolts Purple/Green- Short Intake Bolts Red- Exhaust Studs green/Red- Short Exhaust Studs Sometimes you will notice the 1 & 6 studs have been replaced with bolts or resized like mine is. This is due to the exhaust manafold having a warping. It warps upward and out causing a leak and most people replace them with larger bolts.
  24. Thanks Everyone. Just got home from the hospital and everything is great. Still missing 2 days of sleep but hey life is short I'll sleep when I hit Z heaven. I will sleep better knowing Carl Beck got his -American Racing LeMans Wheel - Can't wait to see it at Amelia.
