1973 Pricing?
I appreciate the feedback and pricing info. Unfortunatly I don’t have any pics to post that would help to determine its value. So far it sounds as though it fits in the $2000 – $4000 range.

1973 Pricing?
Hi, Fairly new to the boards. Looking to purchase my first 240z and was hoping I could get some advise on pricing for a 1973. The one I am looking at in town is in really good shape. Almost 99% rust free with very little modifications . It has been repainted, but not the original color. Also the carbs have been switched out with earlier round tops. What is a resonable price range for something in this condition? I have researched the NADA and other pricing guides but was hoping to get some real life purchase history quotes from people on the board. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Darrel

Hello
Hello I’ve been an admirer of the early Z cars since I was a kid. Finally looking into buying one of my own. Hoping I could seek out a little advise from the apparently well established community here at Classic Z Cars. Currently looking at a 1971 240Z that is close buy. I have studied up on what to look for but I’d still like to get some comments from the pros. I’ve posted all the pictures of my pending purchase to my member galley. I’d appreciate any advise or comments people may have that will help me verify the cars “original†status. Also anything I should be aware of problem wise you may see on this particular or on the 240z model in general. I’ve had quite a bit of restoration experience when it comes to Chevy models, so any work the Z may need doesn’t bother me. However I’m new to the import market, so I could use some advise on what reproduction parts are available (sheet metal, interior, etc..) and the best places to procure them. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance. Darrel
