i'm going to custom paint my 71' 240z, but i don't know the style, or color of paint i want to use yet. i need some overhead pictures (pictures taken from above the car) so that i can dray up multiple designs and choose my favorite. any color car would work but a white one would be best. thanks for the help!

on my 72 240Z there is a grinding/knocking sound in the rear when you are moving, i am suspicous of the brakes, but i am also wondering about the two knuckles near the each back wheel on the axel. has anybody else been expereincing this kind of problem, if so, how did you fix it?

My 72 240Z has the two stock SU carbs on it. a couple years ago i parked it and havn't ran it for about 6 years, when i start it up it sputters and backfires. my first thought is the carbs, does anybody have a diagram, tips, or any other ideas of what this could be
  6. Hey, i'm 16 years old and familiar with mechanics, especially cars. my dad owns a mid 70's 240z (does the exact year matter?) that he stopped driving because of our large family. Recently my mom and him got a divorce and he will be able to drive his Z again. there is one problem, it doesn't run. the carburators are shot and many other problems. I NEED HELP! i want to get this done before his birthday First of all is there ever any tricks to these carbs that anybody knows about, a quick look at them and they look like they just need a good cleaning and a few new parts (jets). the biggest problem is a constant grinding near the rear axel, since these cars have independent rear suspension i am suspicius of the two knuckels on each wheel, but maybe its something as simple as the brakes riding. has anybody else had this problem? if you have any answers please help me out by sending an email to jjdruffel@hotmail.com. Thanks a lot
