Hey, i'm 16 years old and familiar with mechanics, especially cars. my dad owns a mid 70's 240z (does the exact year matter?) that he stopped driving because of our large family. Recently my mom and him got a divorce and he will be able to drive his Z again. there is one problem, it doesn't run. the carburators are shot and many other problems. I NEED HELP! i want to get this done before his birthday First of all is there ever any tricks to these carbs that anybody knows about, a quick look at them and they look like they just need a good cleaning and a few new parts (jets). the biggest problem is a constant grinding near the rear axel, since these cars have independent rear suspension i am suspicius of the two knuckels on each wheel, but maybe its something as simple as the brakes riding. has anybody else had this problem? if you have any answers please help me out by sending an email to jjdruffel@hotmail.com. Thanks a lot
